Default In Which I Build A Street Car

There will be no formal format for this thread. You all can deal with it.

Car in question is a 99.

I already bought tires. 205/50-15 VR1s. Does ANYONE have pictures of the 15x8.5 Hypergrams wearing either a 205/50 or 225/45 on an NB WITHOUT rolled fenders?

Car is nice, would like to avoid a roll. Tires are wide, 8.5" width is appropriate. Hypergrams are pretty, me gusta. Car has Xidas. Have camber, will travel.

205/50 VR1 unmounted vs 225/45 RS4 mounted on 15x9.

Also: Bought TRS H1 HID retrofit. Because street car.

Hrm. Do they work in my other build thread?

This was the direct short link to the photos in my Flickr page. If i use the actual BBCode link, it ends up double posting everything in here because this site's coding is hot trash and seems to have a Flickr-specific plugin that only serves to make me irate that i have to post things differently here than ANYWHERE ELSE on the entire internet.

Nobody owns Hypergrams you weirdo, we're all god fearing 6ul loving folk here.

I've been running 225/45 RS3 on x9 on my NB for years with no need for a roll, and fwiw this is fairly common. Are your bastard rims like 0 offset or something? I don't understand why you think there will be an issue.

I don't have 225s, i have 205s. I did also fit a 15x9 225/45 setup on Hater without any roll.

But these are 205s, and 6ul 15x8 offsets look like hot dumpster fire on NB.

The Hypergrams are 15x8.5 +25.

Wut? I have +35 offset Enkei PF01's with 205/50/15 Conti ECS's and they are flush with the fenders and -2.5 of camber...

Sounds like we have different definitions.

I had +36 15x9 Longerdongers with 225/45 and they were "flush" with miles of clearance, no roll. By math, your setup would have been 1" more "sunk" (or whatever the kids say) from my setup. Not interested.

My "race car" is hellapoked and it's beyond disgusting.

15x10s do not fit under anything resembling stock body no matter what anyone says.

All i'm looking for is the "fitment" of the old 15x9 +36 225/45 setup on Hater. Just with 205/50 tires, without gross stretch. Shouldn't be hard.

I can comment that a 15x8 +0 with a 205 v720 up to the bumpstops, no rub even nearing full lock, fits under stock NA body, just have to actually know how to use a roller and be patient. Very patient. With good...forearm strength.

That is about *** herrafrush as it gets. Like, bordering on poke, settle for a +25, on a NB can maybe get away without a roll. It'll be tight..real tight.

Yes.

15x8 +25 205/50 is verified to fit on NB without roll.

The question is. As stated before: Does 15x8.5 +25 fit provided you're ok with running -2.5 degrees camber. (I am.)

Easily. Thought you were doing 225 for some reason.

Well, they look a LOT like 225s. Guess we'll find out.

Car maybe probably might need a fuel pump.
