I call BS on the numbers. I am sure it is fast but there is no way it is that fast.

That is A LOT of power at 12psi. Especially considering it is mustang dyno power. In fact, it's more power than a GT30 will put down at 15psi on a Miata.

The turbo is way too small to flow enough air for that HP at that psi. Even with e85 and all the timing and cams and headwork in the universe it wouldn't happen.

That said, I am sure the car drives awesomely and grats for getting it completed and on the road! People don't drive numbers, they drive cars so yay

it's a 45 lb/min wheel. that's roughly 450 BHP.

Full Race website has a dyno plot of the EFR 6258 putting down roughly 500rwhp on a dyno dynamics at 23psi of boost.

blue line is a 2871.

Hmm, it's a 44lb wheel right?, 315 seems plausible. The EFR turbos are supposed to have pretty good spool characteristics and excellent mid range so doesnt seem too crazy.
Were there any correction factors applied by the dyno?-doesn't matter if it is a mustang you can tweak the software to make it say whatever you want

That ain't no miata motor. You could put this turbo on a Viper and it would make 500hp with 0psi of boost.

Yeah of course it's plausible but NOT at 12psi. This is not a s2000 and this is not a huge turbo. No.

The differences between Ari's setup and the other one are pretty significant.

Ari:
-ramhorn manifold vs. non-center flanged log
-Square top vs. stock 94 manifold
-Precision intercooler vs. a stock Saab unit
-better engine management vs. Link
-ported 99 head vs. stock 94 head
etc...

You are right Scott. I talked with him earlier and it is time-based. I will get a RPM plot from him and will post it.

Edit: Printer was FUBARed, only pics no prints.

250wtq / 1.84bar (absolute) / 1.9 = 71.5tq/atm-L. Numbers are totally believable.

God damn.

God damn. Based on numbers (315whp, 251wtq) the operator stopped the pulls at 6600rpm.

315whp at 6600rpm from 12psi on a turbo that spools like a 2554R.

Thanks Andrew. The runs stopped at rev cut.
Here is the RPM plot...
Ignore the signal noise.

Can you do a spool test in your 1:1 gear (4th or 5th) from 2000rpm up? It looks like the turbo "hits" really late.

Still, though, 200lb.ft at 4000rpm, at 4000ft. lolol

Looks like more of a supercharger plot than turbo plot. Really weird
