It was an interesting mix of decent parts and **** parts. Nobody is surprised that you blew up the 1.6 with the FMU, get a damn megasquirt, you clearly have the money if you're buying Artech parts.
so you blew up a stock 1.6 and now you put in a stock 1.8 and you're going to blow it up too.
Yes, we should all praise him for slapping on cheap parts and systematically destroying a car.

It also had/has this quarter panel fitment:
In other news, my ARtech manifold came in today! I also purchased a cheap laptop to tune a megasquirt with yesterday. Oh, and sent my 460cc injectors off to witchhunter to be cleaned and flow tested. I work weekends so I probably won't get much else done until tuesday, then I'm planning on getting the new engine in and everything hooked up and ready to go by thursday. Since I'm using the 1.8 throttle body I don't know that it'll be able to start until I get a MS in there so then we'll play the waiting game...

Were you hoping for people here to praise what you've done? This is a forum based around a car that we like. You take said car and smash it into walls repeatedly.
It's akin to buying a nice painting, drawing sharpie dicks all over it, then showing up at the gallery with it expecting people to respect what you've done.

Back in the 60's during the drug explosion, it was said that "everything starts in California and moves east."
That being stated, "I hope California breaks off the continent and falls into the ocean before this trend infects the rest of the country."
I truly am glad to see you're planning on running megasquirt, and other respected goodies, but when the sun rises...I guess drifter's gonna drift.

Also, I hope you take pride in those negative props. I did what I could to help you out, but it's a losing battle around here, lol.
