Looks good.

What are you using for track pads with street tires?

Stoptechs for now. Haven't been able to outdrive them yet.

I've just about got my Silver car back together, still with Stoptechs on 1.8 brakes. Now that I'm much faster, I wonder how they'll do?

First track day ever was on r-comps at thunder hill, new 5 mile track. I couldn't cook them there. I'm no star driver but there are some pretty hard braking zones there. I'll probably buy a set of something a bit better and put it in a box of spares in case I cook the stoptechs.

Had you been to the T-Hill before and run the "short" course? I'm curious of what you thought of the 5 mile. Can't wait to get up there again.

Ummm, I liked it, but it was confusing as hell. 20 some turns, and the West half of the track is totally different than the East half and that was weird too.

I felt scared during the mid-sweeper throttle applications. *shudder* I'm officially broken for riding shotgun on public roads.

It was really slippery out. We were going pretty slow. I don't think I broke traction once. My friend is 19 and on shitty tires, but once he scared himself he slowed down a bit lol.

Any objections or suggestions before I go do the other 4 corners?

you made the mistake of using the drill stop on the drill spindle, should have used one on the bit itself. can you have it tigged up? want to send it my way?

Don't really want to try. It was only 60 dollars. I should go buy a drill stop on the bit.

Turns out circle track cars really like to use the Series 6 19 row oil cooler for the rear diff. So I'm going to message my gf's family friend who is an organizer for sprint car races in the area and see what he can dig up.

If you want it sure. Think you could fix it?

Bummer.

Racer Parts Wholesale seems to have these for the least cost. Your choice of Mocal, Setrab or Tru-Cool.

I'll probably end up with another used one. Circletracksupply.com has them for 89+shipping, if my local guy can't beat that I'll go there.
