Also got 3 6pt schroth harnesses on ebay. I've been hunting for these for a while and finally got some. They have 2" lap belts, and 2" shoulders for my HANS.

Anybody know if its ok to run hans 2" shoulders without a HANS?

I too would like to see the video. I have always been under the impression that they are suitable for HPDE.

Expired doesn't mean they're bad, it means that they can't be guaranteed to be good. Expired belts that have been stored properly are (probably) fine, expired belts that have been installed and sitting in the sun with UV exposure for their entire life are less likely to be so.

Personally I wouldn't buy expired belts for anything except autox (where the point to using them is more about holding you in the seat while driving than for safety). Expired belts that I bought new and have been installed in my car (which spends most of its life in my garage) I'm willing to use.

That said, my belts are now approaching double their expiration life, I should probably replace them before I go back to the track.

Do you have any pictures of the light output from your headlights against a garage door or wall? Just curious if the pattern is decent considering they are set so far back in the bumper. How do they compare to the popups for driving?

With the way the projectors work the light output actually isn't blocked at all by being so far back. I get light about 4-5 feet in front of the car. And then cutoff wherever I adjust it too.

I really like them. I kind of miss the high beams, but the light output is so good on the low beams it almost makes up for it.

Car is on jackstands right now or i'd go take a picture.

They don't have a stepped cutoff pattern, though I bet you can open them up and modify the shield if that were a big deal to you.

Thats the brake pedal switch, I was referring to the dash light.

I wonder if it's used to see if the e brake is on

I would assume its just like any other ABS module then. Its for "CBL". check brakes lamp. Itll illuminate the dash if there is an issue.

hmm, I guess it depends on the car it came from. I don't know ABS miatas, but I know some older vehicles only have a "brake" lamp, while most have "ABS" and "brake" and im reasonably confident the later ABS modules are capable of illuminating either under certain conditions. But im going to stop assuming now and wait for someone with experience with these.
