Its going to be straight into the AFPR. Which will be chassis mounted.

The pressure fittings are rated to the working pressure of the tube (page 9)
I can get -500-6-5AN (page 19) which is a 5/16 tube to Male 5an. Then a simple 5an female to 6an male and were good to go. Need to call a distributor and get a price.
Then I dont have to **** around with flaring and stuff.

I very much hate those fittings. The necked diameter next to the large shoulder means they snap off in your block oil feed port.
Why tap a plug when you could just buy this for $4?

Yeah.
Seeing the picture of the swagelock, it probably doesn't matter. It has a weak center no matter if it's male or female.
With the need for the through hole, combined with the thread relief cut right into the shoulder (can't turn complete threads against such a tall shoulder) means you get a really weak shear point.

Before I dig into all this. How much fuel/hp can the stock 5/16 line support.

I did it because I wanted to overdo it so I wouldn't have to worry about a weak link in my fuel system. I have a fairly ridiculous fuel system in this car, although I am running E85. Twin 255's, 2 relays w/10 gauge wires, 6AN, regulator in the engine bay, ID1000's at 60 PSI and 1:1 referenced. Basically a few months ago I got tired of upgrading things and not doing it "enough", so now whenever I upgrade something, I go ahead and do it all-out with the idea being it's the last time I have to mess with it.

I think I'm going to leave the stock line for now. I'll have it set up with AN6 everywhere after the hard-line so it will be really easy to add an AN line later.
