</p><p>So AFPR's are not cheap. 150 at least. What about finding a fixed FPR thats 90psi or so? Seems like it could be cheaper, and a way to get the most out of some of these new injectors. ID lists their max fuel pressure for ID1000's at 101.5psi differential. I don't see how they could have made their injectors support more fuel pressure when they are just custom Bosch EV14's.</p><p>

<p>Yes, I found that right after I asked. Odd that the listed dead times for the GT500 injectors are so much lower than the 725s. I wonder if there is an equation to it or if it is just pure testing. Maybe I will try and find out

Yeah, sorry about that. I was a little behind in the reply there. When you think about it logically, it 100% makes sense as to why they change.
If you go back to the really, really old posts here on the forum where people were ghetto rigging stuff because not everyone had a MS, you can find guys doing stuff like much higher fuel pressure. You can find a bunch of this old data here: Fuel Injectors - Miata Turbo FAQ
RC has a really crude calculator for this stuff here: http://www.rceng.com/technical.aspx
ID has a much much better calculator here: http://injectordynamics.com/injector-selector/

<p>Doing some more reading and research, also shot off an email to ID because I read in more than one place that they have tons of injector data on the GT500 injectors.</p>

<p>Its not happening anytime soon. But it will happen. If the auction car has an ok engine then it will happen sooner that I had hoped. If the engine is bad then it will wait for another auction car.</p>

<p>How many torsens do I have to break before I should have gotten a ford swap or whatever.</p><p>I should just stick the 9 inch off my truck under there. 4 link + 500hp vvt in a 2500lb car. Sweet drag times.</p>
