All is good. I resoldered a new wire to the pin. Stripped back the harness and crimped it on. Need to tape it all up but its driving right again for now. Hopefully it doesn't come back.

I'll take pictures later. Basically the pigtails I bought were way too short so I ended up soldering really close to the connector. The solder stayed connected but the OEM wiring just broke right at the end of the solder.

That's a huge bummer but at least you got it back together. Any way to support the wires at the point where it broke, to keep the vibration out of the other solder joints on the other COPs?

This is actually something I've mentally struggled with regarding the Toyota COPs setups, my own included. There just does not seem to be a good way to support the wire at the COP to eliminate this type of failure when using a "bottom up" bracket. The "top down" style with the bar that goes over the tops of all the COPs would be easier because you could secure it to the bar, but then it looks oogly. When I built my harness I used the connector kits from Ballenger and I'm hoping the little wire seals give enough of a strain relief effect that it won't be a big deal.

I'm just rambling here, hopefully it holds up and that this is the worst you have to deal with this weekend. Good luck!

I wouldn't worry with a well built harness. Looking at it it was bound to fail. It was a hard solder joint with almost no room for flex. With a well crimped connection with room to flex you would be fine.

<br />I got put in intermediate because novice was too full. I'm a little worried because I've never run this configuration. Going to spend most if the day on low boost and getting used to it.

Dtc60s are nuts. Make sure you wash the wheels before it rains on the car after using them.

<br />When I came off they were 38psi hot and they felt greasy. Greasier than the morning when they were 42 hot. Going to leave then for a session, it might just be the faster times.
