Touring were available as an auto as well. The '99 5 spd is a little weak but will hold 250 wheel before they become an issue. The '00-02 5spd are stronger and people have success up to about 450whp with them.
If you want to really enhance your driving experience with it do a simple bolt on de+t avenir/bluebird t25 setup with 200-240whp and it will still be as reliable as the day is long.

Working on closing up the front of the frame rails. First time mig welding in forever. And first time with gas. Totally different than TIG. Angle grinder died before I could finish

Ive been doing some tinyIOx wiring. Got the EGT circuit built. and 2 of the ADC input protection circuits. Plugged everything back in for a proof of concept test.
Probably the last time this motor will run in the car.

Light output looks pretty good!
Weld them on! lol
Not really sure yet, probably something like singular's kit or what you did, just rivet them to a panel and rivet that to the hood. Not really sure there's another good way, looks kinda like a pita. Eventually, I wanna get the CCP hood with integrated headlight lids, but I don't have the money for that right now.
