Out of respect of our previous fabricator bro's "trade secrets" I'll keep this one on the low down. He got bent when i told him i knew what it was so i guess it was pretty important to him. I'm sure it's out there on the internet somewhere. I will tell you it took less than an hour to do all the bends and pipe you see though..

in person it looks better than these photos. Now lets see this & my 1.6 Ecocet make some laps together. I think I can get some back to back double gopro open track time. Both cars will be one week finished at next event.... Would make for epic weekend 100+ miles of autocross to break them in.

Tip: to make a template, Blank sheet of paper plus dirty finger tips. Rub over surface that you want to copy. Done. I've been using this alot on this build to make plates that need to mount onto things that already have holes drilled and tapped. ex. motor mount plates, dry sump pump mounting plate, bottom of bell housing plate.
Zip tie trick for multiple hoses. Works good. Pretty self explanatory.
I'll be adding a lower subframe brace and a shield to protect these hoses in the near future.
Heavy gauge 4" aluminum tubing cut and crushed for hose management in the trans tunnel. Room for future -6AN fuel lines for when i run corn juice.
Breaking it in. Felt bad draining out all that clean looking oil.
Need to install a new timing belt tension and idler pulley tomorrow along with some fresh plugs. Going to adjust the oil pump gear position and address an exhaust leak at the manifold V-band tonight and hopefully be ready to tune by Thursday or Friday. Pull videos to follow.
Throwing around the idea of making it down for the MRLS event in September. If funds and work schedules align i'll try to make it happen. I'd be nice to trailer the car down there just in case but access to a ride is kinda in the air right now.

I need to go back and read this thread again... i have an F2 block with FE3 crank, B2600 rods, and F2 pistons chucked together in the name of science sitting on my garage floor.
Any thoughts from driving it so far as to how the change in rod:stroke ratio is showing itself in driving characteristics? This should be close to 2:1, right? 1.9xx?
