I last changed the fuel filter um 3 years ago when I had my first dyno ever. Back then, guess what! I was going lean at 6500RPM! OMG!! I then replaced the stock pump with a walbro 255hp and the filter. BTW the filter is $26. You were off by 260%. Fail. lololol
Data on said trashing occurances please?

I would PM Savington as he knows the most about this
I believe it was first noticed when people started upping the rev limit with standalones, the valve seats were getting hammered down on cylinder #1 and people thought it was the VVT controller causing the problem but now it seems to be a resonance problem with the VVT cam at 7500(per I think Steve at Integral cams before he sold the business). Lowering the rev limit removed the failure that people had had repeatedly with a higher rev limit(bellwilliam?).
Aftermarket springs, valves, or cams might cure the problem but I don't know of anyone that runs and aftermarket VVT cam yet.
See this thread that I just read for Sav's reply

Can't my **** ever work right?
See attached log. What the ******* ****.
I also was seeing det tonight. ******* fail on part of tuner. It was raining yesterday but maybe he pushed the bleeding edge? I dunno. I lowered timing a bunch on my map.
Anyways, I attached the log of some funky AFR wierndness. Note that the injector duty cycle is consistent as is the level of boost but AFR is ******* up? Maybe minor misfiring? Maybe pump failiure? Sigh
Well whatever it is still fast. As fast as leatherface's is. Will take vid in daylight tomorrow.

Dude your AFR's are F****d you need to set that bitch on Auto tune and set it to 11.5 or 12 and then let it do its work. Or tune it your self that is some total bullshit of a tune I would smack the **** out of that guy if my car did that one day out of tunning.

Please chnage my thrwead title to "faeflora gets a shitty tune, makes power, detonates, and goes back to basemap".
I am back on wastegate 17ish psi and 12* spark @5000 up to 18*70000rpm. I think I have a few problems- fuel pump and hydra wideband. Gonna go slow until that **** is fixed. Fail
