NA cluster. Shouldn't be that hard. I made the swap to an NB cluster in my NA in a few hours of wiring.

Depends on a few factors, 18psi, but it would read closer to correct than most Miata speedometers looking at the gear ratios.

If he went that way and it worked, a Dakota Digital box should fix that. Once again, that's the route the swap guys go who follow FM's rules. The rest of us tune the speedo with HPT or EFI live.

Why's that? I soldered maybe 5-6 wires. The rest were re-pinned

Because its garbage, the tach is usually off by like 400-500 or something ridiculous, and the speedo cable goes out and has issues, etc.

Not to mention its ugly and gay

I believe 18psi is right. It is alot of work to install a rear end or T2 transmission for one the PPF will not work. You should definitely consider the quaife. I had a hard time with my t2 rear but it was my first fab project and I had access to a quality machine shop to do fabrication.

Swapping in a 929 pumpkin fits MUCH better and can be had with the 3.7 gears. The T2 pumpkin looks like a huge dong.

*Edit* Min isn't going to do it though. I offered my axle setup to him and he never wanted it. I was going to make the switch to a 7.5 with 3.27 gears.

Who can make this for me? I want to do it.

IIRC the raw material alone for my bellhousing adapter was north of $100. That doesn't leave you much to pay someone to do the difficult work. My new driveshaft is looking to be around $440 with a new slip yolk and companion flange from Granny's speedshop, still pricing out other options though.

Your results may vary.

Yes swapping clusters would go very poorly for me. My car would likely never run again.

Because $2500 later I could have instead bought 5 good hookers.

So much money! I am interested in the dong though.

Doing a tranny swap will run you about the same as a Quiafe gear set if you have someone else fabricate everything important. However, the advantage to a tranny swap is you can get cheap other transmissions - if you ---- up the Quiafe set, you are going to have to pay the same $2500 + probs $500 to a tranny shop for install. Compare that to the other recommended transmissions that would run you a hundred to a couple hundred if you ---- it up.

P.S. I am serious when I say this. I don't think you should try fabricating anything you possibly can get fabricated on it Faefae.
