If you can fit the N/A rx7 tranny, you can fit the turbo RX7 tranny. Mounting and connections are virtually identical. Go to it boy.
P.S. The t2 trannys are reputed to hold 650rwhp on a rotary. That enough for you Faefae? 550 rwhp is a known, there's at least 2 guys I know of reporting (non-drag) 650rwhp holding on theirs.

No on the glide- Auto will make his boring car even more boring. Nothing like running single digit times while holding a cup of coffee. After the launch its just like your just driving to the grocery store.

The only way a T5 will hold big power is with an aftermarket gear set, and by the time you buy everything and have the trans built, you might as well quit messing around and buy a big boy trans. Built T5s are great when you're dropping them into places that they just drop into. If there's fab work involved, it seems really silly to use a built T5 when an off the shelf trans would cost you the same amount of money and take the same amount of effort, and a spare trans is just a phone call to D&D/ REV/ trans shop of choice away.
That said, if I can come up with a spare Turbo2/ FD trans to take measurements off of, I really will make adapter plates.

Please do not look for a BEGI solution. That will only prolong this carnival another 4 years.
Eventually, after you've thrown enough money at it, you'll get it to work. For a little while at least. lol
I agree that you should just take it to the dyno and do a 5th gear pull. See wtf kind of power it's making and then you'll know your options. Bro.

Why deny the bellhousing exists to bolt half a dozen real transmissions to your engine? You can't break most of them.

Lick my juicy little cunny. So was that fukkn mazdaspeed trans i just kerploodied in a regular ol 3-4 shift.
I know jack about Muncie, Jerico, Richmond, Saginaw, Bert, 4-5 Speed, Chev TKO 500-600 Transmissions but they can't be more than $1000. Right?
Which one is most baller and super slick. I need to be able to flat shift at 8500 RPM while I am sucking my own dong and ballin hard at 40psi. 600+ft lb tq capable is necessary. If I sexplode my motor I may go turbo LS like that fukkn swapped turbo'd god on m.net

generally straight cut gear and/or dog boxes (square lugs replace syncronizers) will be less money and stronger at the expense of noise and poor streetability.
"For use with miata OE clutches"??? with a disc that matches the trans input shaft.......
A PPF/rear diff support, shifter location, driveshaft, speedo cable, crossmember solution will need to be created. None exist to my knowledge except for maybe the Martin/Monster Miata for the T5's and V8R/FM for the T56 if the trans happens to be in the same spot as the appropriate V8 in those kits. And umm...those aren't cheap either. I don't know if the T5 or T56 would work with that quicktime bellhousing...I think it would. If not I am sure they will make you one that does for the same price if you call and ask nicely. So yeah that's why no one vocal is using it when the Grade A players here are fine with the 6speed.
Honestly that's what I would do. Quickest & easiest by far. Maybe develop some mechanical empathy.

Either get a supply of 6 speeds or if you aren't going to go ***** out for a TKO setup then you could try these. . . I didn't say they were cheap though. Never heard of these guys either.
