I have no clue on what half of the things you say even mean.

Ahhh, you're living 2 weeks behind. Gotcha

FowlerMotorsports 06-18-2013 07:56 PM

Seems I was wrong... looks like my ecu is fried... and I locked my keys in the car with the ign on. Yay!

hornetball 06-19-2013 01:12 PM

You see, that's the problem with hardtops. You are actually tempted to lock your car.

ECU fried? Not too common.

Braineack 06-19-2013 01:16 PM

it takes all of like three seconds to pry on the window, shove a stick down, and unlock the door.

18psi 06-19-2013 01:18 PM

Not as easy with a baller hardtop you don't wanna damage that might have a big overhang, but still do-able.

Ecu frying (if thats what it really is) is your car telling you it wants MS

FowlerMotorsports 06-19-2013 01:35 PM

Should I be worried, my old 93 spare key unlocked my door.

Some odd reason I have no power to my fuel pump relay. Fuses checked out fine

Do you have an EMS4? The trick would be unplug the ecu, then plug it back in, then try to get the laptop to connect, keep unplugging and re plugging till you can connect, then put a password on the unit. Then the fuel pump will prime every time the key is turned.

FowlerMotorsports 06-19-2013 01:45 PM

Stock ecu

Leafy 06-19-2013 01:47 PM

Hmmm. How does the FP relay and connector look? Something melted the shit out of my connector and relay back on the stock ecu and FP.

FowlerMotorsports 06-19-2013 01:51 PM

Looks fine. Should be getting 12v at the two white/blue wires with ign on but I get nothing. My 80amp fuse is fine so im gonna pull schematics up here at work.

Leafy 06-19-2013 01:53 PM

Good luck. The schematics isnt helpful. Try jumpering the hot leads for the EFI relay and see if you have power at the connector.

FowlerMotorsports 06-19-2013 01:57 PM

I put a jumper to the fuel pump relay and ground (on the diagnostic connector under the hood) which should put voltage to my fuel pump but still nothing.

I found a thread on here that discusses a few ways to check it out. Pumps not my problem unless I have 2 bad pumps now which the bosch worked fine when removed.

Leafy 06-19-2013 02:00 PM

No, jumpering FP to GND in the diagnostic box grounds the little green wire on the FP relay connector.

18psi 06-19-2013 02:00 PM

Might be a bad crank angle sensor. That's happened to me before

FowlerMotorsports 06-19-2013 02:17 PM

That's what I meant leafy, my mistake.

How to diag a crank sensor besides replacing it?

Leafy 06-19-2013 02:18 PM

Well if you have no power at the white/blue wires at the FP relay. jumpering the green wire to ground does approximately dick.

FowlerMotorsports 06-19-2013 02:31 PM

The check list I read was pretty dumb, all I know is I have no voltage anywhere but Ido have 12v at my 80amp

Leafy 06-19-2013 02:33 PM

Ok, jumper the EFI relay in the under hood fuse box.
