Yeah, but it should be way more reliable on the track, which is what his car is being built for. He should be able to do a lot of the fab work by himself though.
I've seen some of his work with his new stick welder, and it's pretty good.

Because BPs are garbage, and the SR20VE makes 204hp.

Obviously the SR20 thing was April Fool's joke.

I would never swap any 4 banger into this Miata that isn't a K20/K24.

It was an April fools joke!? I was serious about it. I think our community would be a lot better off if someone had developed a kit for this instead of the K.

D'oh you got me. Having owned 10 different SR20 powered cars over the years I love those damn engines but it just can't compete with the potential of the cheaper K swap.

Let's talk about side mount seat brackets.

Planted or Cobra 90 degree universal side mount brackets are $80/seat.

Are there any other brackets i should be looking at for cheaper? Would using Ebay brackets result in the drowning of many kittens?

Many drowned kittens? Side Mount Steel Seat Brackets for Racing Seats 90 Degree Adjustable P1 Black | eBay

ALL the drowned kittens? Black Side Mount Steel Seat Brackets for Racing Seats Mounted Brace | eBay

NONE of the drowned kittens and all of the warm and fuzzies? Planted 90 Degree Universal Adjustable Side Seat Mount Sidemount Black Steel | eBay
