I love the fealz of a minty fresh OEM shifter, no need to spend $300.
But yeah, I love the way the MR SSK feels

Placed order for the delrin+boots.

Bout to order AMSOIL for ALLTHEFLUIDS

The Miata build/thread was in a hibernated state while I took care of more important things in my life. Couldn't afford/didn't need/avoided the distraction by pulling the plug completely. Poor self control when it comes to the damn thing!

Vlado's thread was at the top when I decided to login for the first time in a long time and I chuckled when I saw a new Miata.

haha, I'm ashamed to say that I STILL haven't even cleaned her, still way too busy and it's 106F outside in the daytime

After I clean her I'm having a friend of mine do a full on compound/polish because the pearl red looks AMAZING when it's properly done.

I still like Ti better, but the red does look great when clean.

Props to Girzor for vladidate.

Glad to have you back Jeff.

lol no photoshoot yet, because no detail yet, because my detail guy can only do this Saturday and no sooner. I've been slowly doing interior clean up, rebuilt the shifter completely with OEM parts, and need to replace the valve cover gasket and change oil.

I've got to say, after doing all the shifter stuff, this is the smoothest 6 speed I've owned. Much less notchy than my previous ones. I have strong urges to mod this thing, but holding off for now (for as long as I can).

I'll get together a list of parts I want. You should buy them for your car so I can buy them off you in the partout.

Buddy just did his thing with the paint

WOW. I can't stop staring at it. It is absolutely amazing.
Sorry for cell phone pics, I'll have my other buddy take some proper ones later.

I haven't even really "detailed" the car either. Just cleaned

Damn. I would kill for paint that good.

The flake really pops. Paint correction, or just clean/claybar/polish?

According to Grand Torismo 3 (which my friend and I played a lot in highschool) your coefficient of friction is lowered, so you can accelerate faster and have a higher top speed.

Is the car missing sideskirts, or did the mazdaspeed only come with the front and rear trim?

Please don't sell it! keep it at least through MMRLS. YOU CAN DO IT!
