Looks like my car with a soft top and 6UL's.
Did you get it for a good deal?

I got a decent deal. Needs some lovin inside and out, and its got leaking main/rear/trans rear and possibly head gasket. Going to yank everything and go over it with a fine toothed comb. Other than that, it runs like a champ and I like it so far.

Got frustrated with looking for a Z, so I'll rock this til I find one. Keeping it n/a for now, going to daily it. Forester is getting bigger turbo and e85 for those times when I need some torque

That pic of it in the rain with the hardtop...I just saw that pic last week I swear. Who had this car for sale? Was this on Miataforumz.com?

Brian used those pictures for proof that BBK fit in the Konig Wideopens, along with my car.

I approve of those wheels. How is the BBK? You didn't have one with the white car, did you?

Very nice, if I ever get anything besides black itll probably be green. What year is that? 2002? What suspension you got under there? I like the brakes/wheels combo.

He was on here, but didn't post much. I bought my hardtop from this car way back in the day.

White car had stock brakes.
I haven't driven this thing much yet (want to make sure its 100% TOP before I do) but so far they feel solid as hell. Definitely an improvement over stock.

F that v8 idea. Put a rotrex on it! I mean, do you want to make power or not?

Love that color, but I'm biased. Congrats on your new car. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Awesome, very nice. Good to hear you're back with a miata.

What turbo are you going with in the FXT?

Well I was going with an APS td06 20g 8cm^3
but recently decided to try a vf48 with e85, since nearly 400wtq and 330whp can be attained fairly easily on e85:

Here is its current dyno with just tbe, sti manifolds and gms crosspipe:
(blue lines)

with full STi suspension and seats I'm really enjoying the hell out of it right now. Balances out a miata PERFECTLY

*edit:
Might as well post up some showoff pics of it too hehe

Are STi exh. mani castings really different than any other turbo 2.5 subaru? Or did you have grimmspeed port them? I put a catless oem uppipe and figured I was good for a while.

EDIT: I'm considering one of the BNR bolt on LGT upgrades. As if I can't make something else work, I must be getting old.

They are different. Nothing drastic but an improvement nonetheless.
Mine are also mildly ported/gasket matched.
As you can see in my dyno plot its holding very decent power up top for a 2.5L td04 setup. Most stock manifold setups like that absolutely plummet after 5

Grimmspeed posted dyno results showing 10-15whp gain up top with this over stock manifolds/cp.

Stock plot for reference:
