Too lazy for any kind of ghetto flange welding. The miata will probably get an ISIS 2871, or some other kind of egay turbo when I get this new motor together (thanks for the rods, vlad).

The vf39 will go on my lezbo wagon

lol I am pulling a viperormiata and delaying the build another 20 years

No but really I took a week off end of Sept that I will dedicate to the Miata. I'm sick and tired of having everything ready to go and no time to finish it.

I should post a pic of my very awesome, but very sad stock turbo Forester XT. Then you can see the actual car you are so rudely depriving of a proper (sort of...) turbo!

So much sex. That thing destroys the vette in every possible category, imo. I'm sure it was much faster, more comfortable, much more practical, looks (personal one for me), fun to drive (mainly the MT vs auto), maintenance costs(not sure, but i'd imagine for the most part).

Maybe I've got too much of a hardon for that thing, but looks like the perfect DD/winter ride to me.

I would do terrible, unforgivable things to have that scooby. It really is the perfect DD imo. The engine bays always seem so ratty though. I guess I'm just used to seeing miatas.

Honestly I've been quasi-looking for a VF48 for a while, but I don't hawk the NASIOC forums every 30 minutes so anything that's any sort of reasonable deal is gone and sold before I ever see the post.

That and I was mostly joking, I don't have time to work on my FXT, let alone my miata, let alone the shitty EK civic hogging up my garage.

I'd love to post pics of my FXT but I can't post from work and I'm flying to Laguna Seca this afternoon. Maybe next week I can photo ***** this thread?

I've considered this also but there isn't an E85 station within 30 minutes of my house + side-feed injecter FAEL.

I would love a stock location EFR set-up in my FXT but it's such a slippery, slippery slope.
