Jesus. That is a lot of power. My dads built STI had 350 and that thing was terrifyingly fast.

that 06 wagon I built earlier in this thread

The drop off up top was cause I went full retard and forgot that the dbw map had a "soft redline" that I put in, and kept tapering power past 6k even though the limiter is at 6900. Fixed that and will re-dyno tonight.

Still not done. Finally swapped the wally for a dw300 which helped quite a bit, this was done in 102* heat just to see what the IDC's are like with the dw.

Hopefully tonight we finish it up, aiming for 430-440 and then need a RRFPR and pump hardwire kit to proceed. I think this setup will be completely maxed at 450/450.

can't complain with 400 from 4k-7k
Such a great Daily

It is cute, and fun!

It appears Full-Race makes an uppipe and downpipe for the EFR Subaru STi Stock Location EFR (Internal Wastegate) Turbo Kit - Full-Race.com and yes, that fits a EJ205 in a WRX

Maybe I can stick my 2560 on it instead

Its honestly a really solid map on there. I will be surprised if you can improve much on it (but more than welcome to try ) Everyone that drove a stock 2L and then my car was like WUUUUUUUT!!??

Yes, yes they do. There's way too many easier options than a 2560 though. in fact, I wouldn't even waste time with one.

Speaking of Full race, I just got this little bugger in the mail last week

You can add me to that group. I don't know what magic you sprinkled on this thing but its silly compared to any other stock 2.0 I've driven in the last 3 months. I'm totally happy with it as it sits.

I wouldn't dare, I was 100% joking. I see absolutely no reason to touch this car. Well, other than the uppipe we discussed.

LOL

that it did.

in other news, here is what cooler weather (a lot cooler, 30*) and 1psi more did on that 06 setup

I'm impressed. Its not pulling timing because of heat, so its running at least 6* more pretty much everywhere. IDC's jumped up 6% too, so its not just a placebo effect, it actually is making that much more power.

And we are finally done with it.

^ I'd rock that. Other than wheel change for my personal preference that is high on my list of best looking wagons.

Sorry Vlad, I made the Subaroo a bit dirty this weekend

Damn car is bestial on dirt, so much god damn fun. I think I made my poor wife a bit car sick. The plastic engine cover needs to be replaced with something a bit more sturdy, thin sheet of plastic does not exactly inspire confidence with the filter and exhaust hanging down under the engine. Need to find a good skidplate for it.

Hahaha I think that's the dirtiest its ever been its whole lifetime.

But right on: put that sl00t to use like a boss.

They make a ton of skid plates for them too, so that should be no problem. Or you could always just make one.

The battery died on my GoPro otherwise I'd have epic river fording videos to share.

DRT Components and Primitive both seem to make skidplates, but it seems a bit expensive at $230+ shipping for a piece of 3/16" aluminum with a couple holes drilled in it. Neither appear to have any side protection either. So yeah, I'm considering making one. It looks easy enough, the problem is finding a big enough chunk of aluminum sheet to make it happen.
