Well that was a hell of a read... Only took three days.
Anyway! Tires, I hear great things about the BFG SportComp 2 as a street tire. My friend has some and they seem to be decently better than the S. Drives I am running now (just the street tires, RE71-R for autox).
I have only ever heard good things about the dz102 from people who went to them after ever only driving on cheap all seasons...

Thanks for reading x_25! Dz102 may be good compared to chinese tires but they sucks compared to other stuff.

Surprisingly they didn't care. Looked at it kinda confused and put me in another cart.

I realized I never asked how Pat's went. Now I know.

Best lap?

Super awesomesauce place?

Also,I've been considering sport comp 2s for the S2k. But I dunno. Need something I can drive on through the winter.

Autocross today went well. Only 2 seconds off a nationally competitive ASP Sti. Got beat by some miatas on Hoosiers.
Need more gearing and torque. Rode the revlimiter on the slalom and bogged a bit after one of the sharp turns.

Ok back to tires.

2 options.

1. Buy Federal 595s right now and hope I get them before sept 21st.

2. Say screw it and run the rs3s I have on right now until spring when I can buy more rs3s.

At auto-x today the rs3s were slippery, but also cold. They were very controllable at the limit, and I held a couple really long slides no problem.

I have money. RS3s aren't available right now.
I've heard some really good reviews about the 595 rs-r. What is **** about them?
Its the internet, be as brash as you want. I like it hard
I wouldn't hesitate to run the rs3s I ran today again. The slip was incredibly controllable, they just didn't have a **** ton of grip. Keep in mind I'm comparing rs3s to z1*s at auto-x. Different levels of cold grip.
