Actually, this is my "street hood", I've got another hood that I'm gonna put the Singular vents in (they've been sitting in a box for about 4 months now) and use for AX and HPDE's.

The GT500 vent is another good choice. Hope you can find one at a decent price.

I need to buy a set of these before the price skyrockets or availability is nill. Any recommendations on where to pick up a set? Part numbers maybe?

Decided to finally man up and play with ms3 beta firmware. There are some cool features that I will be trying out. Mostly excited for the Boost control "setup" feature.

Also the pit lane limiter is pretty cool. Its pretty much made for roll racing. Pick a speed, flip the switch and you hold at that speed. Let go of the button and you take off.

Going to try and use it as a valet switch.

So I was getting serious misfires. And I think that it is my injector connections. When I wiggle the pigtails I get the same misfire. So now I am going to cut my oem connectors and wire the EV-14 connectors straight in. Anyone have a reason I shouldn't do this?

Dammit Aidan you're making so much progress. All I've managed to get done in two weeks is drop of parts for the S2k and get my vise mounted to the work bench. Oh, I did put a control arm in the vise. It's still there.

Spring break baby. Don't worry I'll be in a 9-5 job in a few months. I'm hoping to get as much done on it as I can before then.

Edit: I hope you also noticed how upside down it was....

Well the stock temp sender definitely doesn't work with this gauge. Gauge reads 119, MS reads 82.

Have to go to practice now (******* hate daily doubles) but I'm really excited with how this gauge turned out.

Still need to make a harness on the engine bay side with one of my new connectors. And then hook up the oil temp sensor next time I do an oil change. Probably before the auto-x this weekend though.

Update to the list:

To-Do:

0. FIND OIL LEAK/BURN (So far so good.)
1. Inconel studs (RX-7 ordered, still need resbond but I think I am going to run without resbond for now because its a biatch to find)
2. Exhaust bracing. (Ordered a 3 inch exhaust clamp)
3. Locking downpipe bolts (Arrived)
4. Seats + Harness
4. Back braces (DIY)
5. Install new springs (550 Front, 350 rear)
6. Oil+water temp guages. (Going with a VEI systems gauge) Ordered and installed
7. Helmet (Going to continue to run my open face helmet and wait for sa-2015)
8. Hardtop (Got one)
9. Put beads on intercooler pipes (Probably DIY: DIY $5 charge pipe bead roller - D-series.org, unless someone local knows somewhere to get it done cheap)
10. Find ever changing coolant leaks.
11. Find diff leak.
12. Heat Shielding. (master cylinder, brake lines)
13. Tune.
14. Manifold relief cuts
15. Setup oil cooler
16. GT500 Hood Vent.
17. Hawk DTC-60 brake pads.
∞. Break stuff

Any input on these?

How-To: Build Your Own RS Style Hood Vents

Seems like they could fit well and would work a little better than the subie vents. The GT500 vent is about $80 while these are more like 25-50.
