You know how some people will tidy up the house a bit before the maid comes? It's kinda like that. You can't really tell from the pictures, but that engine block was completely encrusted in a thick layer of filth and grime that defies belief. The previous owner must have disposed of her used oil by pouring it out evenly over the whole engine. Basically, it's now at the point where I won't feel bad handing it over to have it tanked.

(plus I'd had the "dirty girl" theme rolling around in my head for a while.)


They'll need to be bored oversize quite a bit before I'll be able to hone 'em. :naughty:

I'd be more excited about the lube up and insertion right before I wear it out (the pistons of course). It's usually a tight fit.

Mine also needed a wash before I could put it in the car to carry to the shop. It was equally nasty.
