Plans for more boost? Seems like with your rods, pistons, and injectors, you'd be good for more powa!

That poor little turbo has no more boost in it. lol.

Lot of different options if you need to upgrade...but that should be plenty to beat on for a while.

It's got a couple more pounds left in it.

Oh yea I'm still in shock.. it's a LOT faster than my dad's 911, plus it handles better too... I doubt we will go to a bigger turbo before a new diff though, we don't need that exploding a hundred miles from the house at an auto-x.

Great build! Fantastic looking car, and good power. Right about where I would like to be, in the ~225whp range. Those turn signals are pretty neat, arrows. Never seen that before.

Well shank ya. I'm kinda on the fence about the signals, I have never seen anybody else do anything even similar before, I might just leave it..

With that mildly built motor, you need a bigger turbo... 2554r at a minimum. It doesn't look like you're after "big" power, but I'd still aim for 2560. You'll sacrifice nothing for spool over the current journal bearing turbo, and the greater efficiency will mean less heat management issues (ie, able to run more timing).

Run the EBC ground line out of the ECU through a simple on/off toggle switch on the dash. You won't hurt the dif running 7-8psi wastegate on a 2560 if you don't hammer the clutch off the line, and just wait until about halfway through second to toggle the hi-boost.

In a straight line roll-on, the 6" dif will do just fine at moderate power levels... it's wheel-hop off the line that kills them.

Yes you need a bigger turbo. Post your spark table, I want to know where those humps in torque stem from. I bet your spark table isn't smooth.

That's really good power for a GT2554. Don't forget that a DD reads 10-12% lower than a dynojet (in my experience). You should really slap a GT2560 on there.

At this point enough money has been thrown at the car, and I am satisfied with current power levels. Eventually, I would like to sell the motor and go with an LS1 swap, maybe even with a supercharger.. I will try and pull the spark table, thats kinda hard given I only have access to a windows computer like once a week..

Guys. He has an SR20 .86 T25, not a GT2554r. Read first post. That power is pretty impressive from that turbo.

The car is a 97 right? Means you have the 7" and you car SHOULD have an LSD if I remember it correctly. I wouldn't worry about the rear end at all.

Is that the one more comparable to the 2560 from the later SR20's?
