Only thing I am waiting on ARP custom age rod bolts which will take 3-4 days once ordered from Summit.
So how ever long it takes Aric to put everything together and how ever long it takes them to put the Quaife gears into the stock 5 speed gear box.

My last set up would have made 600 whp at 30 pounds according to my tuner, I just never pushed it due to the fact everything wasn't 100% IE stock mains, no billet OP gears, clutch, and fuel system.
I changed all that, everything will be able to handle the power minus the transmission which I think should hold for a bit fingers crossed.
The way I see it, Eliminator did it so can I...I have a lot of stuff he didn't have so I don't see the issue.

******* time.
To all the haters, **** off. Who gives a **** if his 1.6 makes less hp per psi than the evo. Regardless, it will make a fuckload more power than 99% of the rides here. Jason and I are the only ones out there (at least with build threads on the interweb) that give enough of a **** to at least TRY to make what is viewed as fairly big power in other communities (evo, subie, honda 2J...). The FI miata scene is stuck in some kind of retarded 1960's time warp where 350hp was huge. When my car as it sits now can lose to multiple STOCK cars that cost under $150K and do 11s 1/4 miles, my car, relatively, is not retardedly fast.
Frankly, you all should be up on our nuts because we are publicly taking miata performance to a higher level. This is good for the whole community and yes, you should sweat us for sharing how much our wallet has bled and having the ***** to tolerate the risk of doing our own R&D.

18psi you shouldn't be giving **** because you should have turned up the boost. You were running e85 and should have run all of it.

Forgot to take your morning pills faggyflowers?
No one is hating on him fucknuts. Your rant is entirely pointless and retarded.
So far you have done jack ****. So until you actually put down some serious power go sawzall yourself.

I never understood that about the Miata community...Honda guys have been making 700+ whp on B16 for years, and even recently 700 whp on a SOHC honda motor on 91 pump gas..why are we still stuck in a era where 300 whp is a lot? Personally 400 whp didn't seem that fast to me, call me crazy but I got bored of the power...higher 200 whp (280 whp) seemed like I was barley moving.
Consciousness is that Miata owners are actually very smart and educated, however, they're very old fashioned and like to stick to things that 'work' and don't like progression. YAY for Megasquirt and GT series turboz!

Each and ever car owner/driver defines "FAST" by their own standards. Just because we define 300whp in a 2200lb car fast doesn't mean we're forcing you both to do the same. We're not. Throughout this whole thread you've been getting nothing but props from us and encouragement.
Another thing is money. While some of us have the money to create a 600+ whp miata very VERY few of us have the desire to just spend all that money on a miata. I'd rather spend it on a good downp payment for another house to be quite honest. But that doesn't mean we're judging you for doing this either.
Now this isn't a "flame" or "diss" or whatever the **** you wanna call it. I'm very curious and can't wait to see what becomes of this car/build because it sure as **** is badass and very interesting. So carry on, just don't think of yourself as some "outsider badass that is breaking all the rules and advancing the world of miatas and putting them on the map" or something. Cause many here could give a **** about a car that is stupid fast in a straight line.

Your secret admirer
PS: I love both you and fleafaggles for doing these ridiculous builds
PPS: my buddy Sean (local) has a built/boosted na that was dead even with a 650whp built/supercharged Z06 vette a couple weeks ago from 40-140. He doesn't even have an intro thread let alone a build thread. There are a bunch of people with wicked fast miatas that don't even consider it a big deal enough to share with the community. I'll try to snap some pictures of it next time I see him.

Around here yes, I have AMS 10 minute drive from my house, and Sound Performance 30 minutes away. I would need at least 600 whp to run with the big dogs around here...There is another shop that has the worlds fastest evo that is about 20 mins away too...Chicago has a huge high horsepower, supra, GTR, evo scene.

Dude it is just like when I have sex. For those ten seconds or less I'm free
I can't believe that there are so few fast cars in Sac.
Seriously, WTF is wrong with you. Stop arguing that enough is enough. You sound old.
BTW how is your fozzie doing?
How nice it must be
In the DC area there are a bazillion new vettes, modded vettes, shitpiles of modded built subies (they come in swarms), evos, fast as **** american iron blah blah. Oh, also AMGs, built M3s (almost lost to one the other day), I'm getting bored writing about it. GTRs and 911 GT2/3 are common. Of course, liter bikes are common too. I know that my car will never be the fastest, but I still do not like losing.

I'd rather saw my dick off with my own teeth than go back to 200whp. Seriously, I am already wondering how long my 2871 @ 20psi is going to keep my happy and I've only had this turbo for two weeks.
I need to be able to stomp mud holes. Around here, we have like 4-5 wicked fast cars, the rest are just poser-mobiles.
Once I am able to trap 100 in 1/8th I should be happy. Then I can go to Chicago and show Jazn how a real man drives his car
