There was a little interference with the front of the valve cover and hood even after adjusting the transmission and PPF to help. Decided to cut out a little bit of the bracing and will monitor/adjust going forward. And here is it all done! Need to schedule some dyno time although the tune from KPower feels pretty good on the street.

And here is a video of the first drive. Try to ignore the rattle/banging. That's the intake pipe going through the wheel well. It has since been opened up and edges covered with rubber hose to eliminate. Electric power steering was also working and you can't tell the difference from stock feel (at least during the short test drives).

I ended up needing to cut even more right here. At some point on track the splitter ends up wiggling and pushing back into the oil-pan.

Congrats on the first drive, it's a big step! You'll love it the first time on track as well!

Car is waiting for it's turn on the dyno... so here are a couple photos of my cat Albert.

It is done! 93 octane. The lowest numbers is the tune as received from KPower. Then he started working on things. I drove the car to the dyno shop and thought it was fast with 135 torque. Now it's gonna have 170 torque coming back from the dyno shop!!! For those interested this was tuned at MCR Tuning in Park City, KY.

Nice! I hope I can hit those same numbers on 93. That torque curve is jucy too, gonna be great for clawing out of corners. Any idea how much VVT angle they threw at it? As of now my power band feels very "lumpy", I'm hoping I can flatten it out once I get VVT dialed in on a dyno.
What's your rev limit set to? My research seems to indicate that these motors can safely rev out to 8K, looks like yours ends a few hundred RPM early? Or is that just for the dyno since you were already past peak WHP?

Rev limit is set at 7800 as recommended by KPower. I think the K24A2s go up to 8k. Not sure on the angle.

When I was talking to Kpower they wanted the 7800 Z3 limit vs the 8200 A2 limit as the Z3 power fell off pretty sharply and it didn't make sense to rev it higher.
The dyno they have posted shows it falling off really hard around 7600rpm. My plot looks similar to yours in the high end and I've raised my limiter to 8000 to give a little overrev if needed.
Maybe it'll damage it but I've also read they're fine just over 8k as it's the oil pump that's the main limitation.

I will update as I don't believe the IAT sensor is listed. I will also add the intake parts I used to build the "thru fender" setup.

A little CF wrap goes a long way! And hell yes to power windows and side mirrors!

Got the new Continental Force 200TW tires mounted. 225/45 on 15x9s. They look huge with no stretch at all on them.

The car has already been on track, ran a 2:23 at NCM on old RS4s and the front sway bar disconnected (because I forgot to tighten the endlinks and one fell out during all the street driving).

But here it is in it's final configuration and the start of the season. My gosh I really need to be more selective of my backgrounds.

The Falcon has landed! And Mitch knows more about this particular car/motor than anyone else!

Managed a 2:21.46 at NCM today. I had to watch the rev's because I think the brand new Honda Crank Position Sensor is bad. If I pushed past 7200 rpm it would trigger a DTC P0336 which is a CKP sensor intermittent interruption. Ordering another OEM Honda one.

That thing sure does get up and boogie even with you short-shifting. Can't wait to see it when you get it sorted!
