Move to "Media" ??? Hallo, Heidi - 6MT 2013 BMW 328i M-Sport DD

Hello, deviants! I just brought home Heidi, a 6MT 2013 BMW 328i "M-Sport" in Estoril Blue II. This is the most fun overall car I've owned since my NB Miata. Manual transmission F30 328i's are hard to find, and even more scarce with zero options (no sunroof, upgraded stereo, blang wheels, etc) beyond the M-Sport package (Sportline suspension, brakes & seats, "M" aero kit, steering wheel & shifter). The N20 engine is a 2.0L 4-cylinder with GDI, VVT and a TDO4 twin-scroll turbo & electronic wastegate.

F30 328i's make 240 whp/257wtq while netting 30+ mpg at cruising speeds above 75 mph. This puts the 3400 lb krautsled at 12.7 lbs per horsepower, good for 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 14.1 at 99 mph. The car has 33k miles and won't see any modifications until I'm beyond the 50K warranty. The first mods will be bolt-ons and tuning software to surpass 300whp on 91 octane. Sorry, crappy dealer pics are the best I've got. :likecat:

300 hunnert dry shot, naturally. :eggplant:

From what I've read, the N20 engine is basically the older N55 I6 turbo with two cylinders lopped off, and very similar to the 3rd-gen Mini Cooper S turbo engine (B48).

In stock form, these engines grenade around 400 WHP / 350 WTQ from either stretched rod bolts, or oil starvation from prolonged lateral G's.
