RoadsterSport Competition Differential Mounts for Miata

I bought their house brand diff bushings to go with the mazda comp motor mounts. I didn't want additional noise, which is why I had ruled out poly/delrin. TBH, I should have probably just gone for the sadfab delrins... I did notice a pretty good improvement with these though.

ya I get where they go. You could have just said yes, moar stiff. that link doesn't say anything about what/how much they help.

I read this to be what was different:
We designed the flange on ours a little thicker in order to preload the rubber on the lower plate to avoid long term issue with loosening and slop in that bushing.

Ah my mistake. I think the difference there was that sadfab sells them. If what aidan said is accurate then garagestar doesn't even have them.

Bottom line: SADfab for all your bushing needs. Anything else and you're just being silly.

I'm dead serious.

I understand that. But I was asking what the lower bushings help with exactly. I cant imagine there being a whole lot of deflection if the lower bushing. I could see there being some, but im not sure its worth the money. I cant say for sure as iv'e never tried them, but this is why I asked the question to begin with. Nobody has said anything about them performance wise. So wtf.

Get lowers. They help with making things feel good.

Miatatman is a masochist, this is all a ploy to get turned on. Way to young to be at that stage in his life, but I don't judge.

Miataman00 doesn't understand that with regards to everything in the rear, you want as much stiffness as possible. Allowing deflection and slop significantly degrades the quality of the shifting experience. You don't want any side to side slop in your shifter - just straight back and forth action like God intended.

Now that he's 18, once he meets up again with Stacy I think she'll help him understand this better.
