Recent Artech acquisition. Really nice quality - too pretty not to post. A little worried about how loud the dump will be.

Dont sweat the dump tube. Its only loud when you want it to be loud.
If you find that its opening up to often, then you just need to turn the boost up.

I saw that on CR and was thinking about it except that I have a T25 Disco and this is a T3. Good find.

Who's run a "screamer pipe" and how bad is it really ?

Parts are starting to trickle in. Anybody know what the bolt that secures the dump tube in the last pic is used for? It's ~6" long

Pretty much complete with "stage 1" - 5psi EWG spring. Only issue so far is the minimal clearance between down pipe and steering shaft.

Glowshift oil plate, 48" Aeroquip -3an oil feed, no restrictor

-10an oil drain. Still need a -8 to -10an fitting

2-1/4" piping. Not sure if I will intercool or go with water injection.

Thanks. Correct, ~1k used for all of the above and the turbosmart EWG.

... and done for now (except for some heat protection). The only real issue with the install was the down pipe interference. I didn't want to bang on it but it was the easiest solution and didn't need much shaping. Also had to source a 3" exhaust gasket online.

EWG sounds pretty cool. Running sans BOV is a little irritating though.

Hood got extremely hot above the turbo. Added a "Thermal Zero" (T3 small) turbo blanket and thermotec wrap for the heater hose. Blanket works great for reducing temps - hopefully it holds up.

Type 10 BOV from siliconeintakes.com - works fine.

Cold air box and small heat shield added.

You're ruining the flow of that coupler with the pipe. There's gotta be a better way.

I have the same coupler clamped to my inter cooler, with a 90* pipe clamped to the other side, going around the radiator. Keep that in mind for when you ditch your silly water injection dreams.

Wow can't believe you are running this setup without an intercooler! Get an intercooler on there lol

I have the same manifold and can't wait to get it set-up in the car! Probably wont be until August though

I was hoping the cold air box would be more effective at reducing intake temps. On a 90deg day, seeing ~175F during 7psi 2nd-4th run through the gears. No pinging but yeah, intercooler is on the list.

MSM I/C and piping

Some convenient tapped holes for mounting.

Upper radiator hose needs to be shortened.

MSM cold side pipe fits without modification.

Straight 2.25" al. tube used to connect to intake and for mtg of iat and bov.

Hot side piping. MSM piping can be used with some modifications.

Thought I was done - not enough clearance between oil drain and turbo outlet to install coupler.

I think the BOV should be as close to the intake as possible. Also your radiator looks a bit brown.

Really like the cold air box.
