I'm convinced this miata is cursed, I'm planning to part this one out and buy another miata to just leave stock. My wife said, "You should get another blue miata, I miss your old one." Which prompted me to start looking at 10AE's this morning and felt like I was going to cry, lol. If I can find a halfway decent looking stock 10AE for what I part this one out for that'll probably be the route I take.

Good luck with it all, we ALL know if you end up in an NB it will end up with a snail on it.. eventually :bowrofl: |
I want to say don't give up, but I can't blame you after fighting these crappy issues for like an entire year. That's enough to break anyone's spirit.

Well best wishes on your new Miata! After having a NB1 and now a NA8, I think they are quit different and agree with the sentiment that "the NA is the better Miata but the NB is the better car." 10AE are nice NB's! Don't know what you budget is but have you considered a NC? They are growing on me. ;)

I want an NC as well one day. I'd really like an rx8 as well, but the motor kills it for me.

I know that feel dude.
Although I can't really complain too much since it was more my kid situation that forced me to part out rather than the car (despite the cas synch issue). Good luck with everything. A bolt on or even stock NB1/NB2 is still a very fun car. *edit: although if you're gonna stick with miata's why not just run a uber basic kit at like 200whp? stock block, etc. it would be easy peasy for you, and be really simple |
