Since asking questions isn't the way to go around here, I'll just post my **** and wait for the reactions.

I've modified the car some already, but the biggest change is the one I'm doing at the moment.

The differs from this picture is the Sparco Sprint V seats and the Rota RB 15x8 ET25 rims.


After 2 months in the workshop, this is the current setup:

Cylinder head renovation (Valve tapping, all gaskets, camshaft o-ring etc)
ACT 6 pad clutch
2001 sport TorSen LSD and axle upgrade (3.9)

GReddy downpipe (Yeah, it will get changed, but not this year..)

I like the Slips...and I love pearl white. I had my 96 painted pearl white

Yeah, the slips really look good on it. But 16" rims are expensive when it comes to rubber purchases, and the offset is 40, so they need to be spaced out to "fit".
So I just got the RB's, and they're getting bronze paint next year

Yeah, I heard. Have no idea where the IC comes from :P

Got her started yesterday, so looking forward to monday and IC/exhaust welding. Had some issues with the ignition being 20 degrees off, but as soon as we got a blinker working we adjusted it enough to get her running.
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, was as happy as I was yesterday

She's hit the floor now, awaiting new IC piping and a connection between the downpipe and my old exhaust.
She's aching for a spin, and I just pray that the gods of weather give me a ******* break and leave the snow north of Oslo for a few days.

If I have to postpone driving her because of snow, I'll probably go mental and start a violent rampage..

Also considering a matte black hood and trunk lid..

As for my weather request, the might lord (yes, the lack of a capital L is on purpose) fucked me over yet again.
It started snowing last night, and since my winter tires don't arrive until the 29th, I can't really get the car on the road no matter how "done" the turbo conversion is.

If you don't have a gasket for the turbo to downpipe connection, you make your own..
(Are these gaskets even made any more? I will make and sell these by request for $129 + shipping :P)

And no, the little thing in the upper right corner of the picture is NOT drugs wrapped in cling film!

So finally, my little girl has become the dirty skank I want her to be.
But first, some building details.

I bought a slightly used kit with a custom IC solution, and to be frank, it sucked monkeyballs. As you can see, the elbow has the IC pipe going down between the power steering and cooler fan, and it's pretty tight down there.


Since I had assistance from people who prefer this stuff to be done right the first time, we had to make some adjustments.
The biggest problem being that the hose from the power steering does a pretty awkward turn, and takes up a lot of space.
So we welded the pipe the other way, and removed most of the hose.


So now we had lots of space for IC piping.


We turned the housing downwards, and put the piping straight down to the IC, giving us a solution for the future. It also looks a lot more discrete.


So the result?
Well, I love it. Apart for the downpipe being 5 cm (that's 2 inches for you) from my brake lines.



Last night we had a mapping session with TS (Thank you VERY much for that tip, it rocks the socks off that MegaTune crap), and she's running good on 3 psi.
Gonna wait for dry weather, and then the boost controller is coming on, and we're moving up towards 12-15 psi.
Tuning isn't really cool in total darkness and heavy rain, you don't want to go full throttle on 12+ psi.

Since my RFL style shitty BOV doesn't work, even with the spring cut in half, I got a new one from ebay.
$40 for this SQV China replica stuff, and I expect to get the ***** I want.

Also picking up a new LC-1 with a gauge today, so I can get a proper map going along with a gauge to fill my second hole in the centre console. The boost gauge is feeling kinda lonely..

And by god, this BOV ******* huge..
Comes complete with a weld on flange of mild steel (since my IC piping is steel), two size recirc flanges, o-ring and a seal.
If it's too loud, I'll just recirc it.
