Ok so I see the event in the log... Boost hits 11.2psi before it cuts.... I think this may be the overboost protection (Currently set to 175kps ~10.7 psi?).

Now my next question would be what do I have to change to keep the boost from going over 10.7psi?

Here's my settings. As far as the lines routing, I just used the 2-port wastegate diagram from DIY as a guide.

Try running the car with the ebc disconnected and make sure the car will hold boost just on the wastegate.

(pressure line to the bottom of the EWG ports, open to free air on top)

Also for the hell of it... Here's my current fuel map... Maybe I have too much/little fuel somewhere...

So like this? The line going to the WG is coming from the boost source

Oops just noticed you said bottom... Switching that line to the other port, but you get the idea

Yeah, that should eliminate MegaSquirt boost control from the situation and narrow down the possibilities.

Looking at my log and it makes me nervous. I see AFR's in boost a little over 12 (Although I dont have the settings correct in MS for my AEM yet, I have to plug in the voltage that Vlad recently figured out)

I'm not driving this thing in boost again until I get it tuned by someone who knows what they're doing, before I break something. Thanks for trying to help out everyone!

On another note... Has anyone ever heard of Xenocron Tuning? Apparently this guy Matt Ivan tuned for them (Not sure if he still does) and He is the one that said he could tune the car for $200

I heard good things about

J-K-Tuning - Tuning and ECU Services

Supposedly he codes and develops for tuning skylines and has handled a wide variety of cars. Don't know if Carlisle is too far from New Jersey. I was never good at Geology.

Fml... I've had my wheels for a year and 1/2 and never damaged one. Today I scrape each passenger side wheel on the curb on two separate occasions. Earlier I pulled to the curb and somehow got the rear wheel. Just grabbed a pizza and when I parked I scraped the front... So dumb. My only thought is that I've been parking the escape for the past 3 months there and I'm just not used to parking the miata.

I can go out there with you and give you a lift home when u leave the car, just let me know ahead of time and I'll make sure my schedule is free that day. Are you thinking soon or in the spring?

I got my car back fully tuned including all the PITA idle and cruising areas. He really did a great job and I don't know of anyone else within driving distance with more miatas under their belt.

Man if you could follow me out there that would be amazing! I'll keep you posted.... I'd like to get it done asap but we'll see what ken replies with! Like I said in text if I have to wait, I'll knock out the body work with my pops first. If he can do it sooner, I'll throw the bumperback on in a more permanent way as well as the finisher panel

Bah, body panels are over-rated. Haven't you learned from all the drifto-tools in NJ?

Seriously though, I'm not trying to ride anyone's dick or take business away from anyone else for that matter, but people have driven way further than you have to to get tuned by him. I'm sure you'll have a response by the weekend. I'm actually going to post a review on the forum if I can because I want to share the good experience and see who else has had one (and so I can be creeping on other local miata owners haha). Another one of his customers who had his car done the weekend before mine made it a point to see Ken before moving to CA permanently. Kind of says something, he's moving to an area where car culture is bigger and I'm sure tuners are more abundant, but he got tuned by Oracle.
