planning to w2w or just DE type track days?

If w2w, what class you building it for?

For now probably just some HPDE's get the car setup then go from there.

Why 10:1? high compression and force induction aren't best buddies.

Nice, I like everything except the absense of a reroute and the stock radiator. There's a lot of weight savings I can see too! Good luck with the rest of it.

High compression and low boost CAN be win.

see every '01+ install. Specifically the power y8s makes at 9.5psi with a 2876.

Why high compression... want the best transient response as possible and the most power @ the lowest boost possible. The compression is the least of my worries, we've worked w/ much higher compression and much higher boost levels, especially in the Honda world.

The project is just starting to unfold so there is still a lot of things to wrap up and modify as things progress. Right now need to swap out the clutch and get on the dyno.

It doesn't seem like it would fit into any competitive w2w class is why I asked (from what I can gleem/guess is you'd be pitted against stuff like radicals who would have an unfair advantage)

The majority of us (and the modding/turbo world) don't really care about classes.

Oh and I ran a 2:56 my first session ever NA on track in the miata at Autobahn Full this weekend. Should have recorded the sessions after that, but forgot to set phone up to capture :p

NA6C-Guy 07-07-2010 05:28 PM

That's one of the best cages I have seen in a Miata. The manifold is also sex!
