Why 10:1? high compression and force induction aren't best buddies.

Nice, I like everything except the absense of a reroute and the stock radiator. There's a lot of weight savings I can see too! Good luck with the rest of it.

Why high compression... want the best transient response as possible and the most power @ the lowest boost possible. The compression is the least of my worries, we've worked w/ much higher compression and much higher boost levels, especially in the Honda world.
The project is just starting to unfold so there is still a lot of things to wrap up and modify as things progress. Right now need to swap out the clutch and get on the dyno. |
It doesn't seem like it would fit into any competitive w2w class is why I asked (from what I can gleem/guess is you'd be pitted against stuff like radicals who would have an unfair advantage)

Oh and I ran a 2:56 my first session ever NA on track in the miata at Autobahn Full this weekend. Should have recorded the sessions after that, but forgot to set phone up to capture :p |
That's one of the best cages I have seen in a Miata. The manifold is also sex!
