I like the way you think, I might just do that to the compressor lol although I have yet to try it on aluminum. That **** would be funny to do the turbine housing like that lol

No, I told the guy we can race at the dragstrip on the next grudge night, which would have been last Saturday, I even offered to pay his $15 entry fee, but I got no reply. I told them I had heard somethings, and I didn't trust them especially for $500, that's why I wanted to go to a sanctioned track, where there would be no debating on who won, it'd would be a legit 1/4 mile. Because the videos I have seen of the car, as soon as they get it front the hazards come on and they call it a race.

It is the "copy cad" kit from Caswell plating out of New York, we got the 4.5 gallon kit and the rectifier that they sell.

Nice stuff, albeit a bit pricey, around $950 for everything. But that included some extras, like zinc brightener and the yellow dyes, heaters, etc.

that's EXACTLY what they do. that whole team is a bunch of hustling lowlifes

good call dude. I didn't even think of that.

I highly doubt they'd ever take you up on that offer, since they wouldn't have the benefit of controlling the race/circumstances and you'd ACTUALLY have a fair shot at winning.

I want to go with a twin scroll, I have no idea which one. But I don't really want to spend that much. I have been looking at the AGP/BW S200sx RS, it's $750, it would be roughly the same size on the car now, and I can get it with the v band outlet.

And it's not a chinacharger. So I wouldn't worry about going past 25psi.

If you're gonna do all that I'd probably really start re-thinking your manifold situation. The stock 1.6 IM and TB are a joke, and you're still on a very basic log which really isn't helping your crazy power goals.

I'd suggest an ABSURDflow style setup or a ramhorn, bottom mount of course. You can sell off your current exh mani and dp since both are still in great shape.

Then shoot for the stars

I think he's going to need to anyway. Side mount + qsv + s200sx = better call Fae for some frame rail realignment.

I finally bought a Honda manifold, I just need to stop dragging *** and make it. That's why I really don't want to go with the EFR, because then I have to remake everything. Either way, something needs to be done because the log just isn't cutting it. But if I do it again, I will be doing it all DIY.

No new updates on anything car related. With moving, breakup, and work I just haven't had time to do anything. I finally got the LS coils working somewhat, need to do some more wiring and I think they will be all sorted for good.

Since I was using the Toyota coils for so long I had removed the bracket I had welded on the valve cover. I didn't feel like messing with all that again, So I just made something similar out of steel and it uses the 3 bolts down the center of the valve cover.

Then last Saturday I went to an Auto-x in Stockton. First time Auto-xing and probably be my last, it just wasn't that fun for me. Drove there on street tires, rocked 40 psi and went at it. I didn't really care, just out having fun. My fastest was a 76.2xx the fastest of the day was a 69.xx
Here is one of my better runs:
Then I was bored sitting at home on Sunday, so I drove up to Sonoma to see how our new customer was doing in his Thunder Roadster. Caught traffic and finally got there around 2. I wasn't planning on going on track but I figured what the hell. Same thing, street tires, 40 psi and just doing some laps. Getting a feel for it. Plus I had to drive it home so I was pretty gentle on it, especially in traffic. This was the last TT group of the weekend.

I came to this thread not expecting track/auto-x vids. Props man, how's the car holding up?

I'm sure you mentioned it earlier, but which churbo are you using? seems to be holding up quite well thus far.

The car is holding up quite well, it has it's snags and hiccups, and some times it just pisses me off and I want to burn it to the ground. But for the amount of miles I have put on it, I can't really complain. Since I started driving it in April I have put just over 15,000 miles on it. And that is a lot of abuse, a lot of racing, auto x, dragstrip, racetrack. It is a T3/T4 .50 ar compressor .63 ar turbine eBay special.

I did actually clean up the wires finally, I also removed the kill switch I had running inside. Everything is soldered and heat shrinked and doing that alone I think has made a huge improvement. The water pump crapped out, so I am currently changing that and addressing some other issues...

other issues like building a new motor

Thanks for checking out the build thread, following it, the positive comments.

Huge thanks for all the help from everyone.

Huge thanks goes out to Vlad (CONGRATS DUDE!) for tuning my **** ball car and all the headaches its caused, I really appreciate it man.

I'm glad your car is holding strong. I wish my polished **** ball would run (polished only because motor and will become über **** ball when EFR goodness happens)

Are those LS truck coils or just LS coils?
