I got mine from Steve @ panic motorsports. We were out at the track a few weekends ago and a stock 5 speed blew. He pulled one out of his trailer and I was completely amazed by it. So I had him ship me one.

When I talked to him on the phone yesterday he said he had a ton of them. Give him a call and ask for one and he will hook you up. I was actually surprised that it got to me in a day.

I can't say how much I got it for, but if you don't need it tomorrow, no reason to order it right away. He said he had a ton and I do not think they are something most people buy.

Thats the logic I was using, I can always save some by picking it up at CMP at one event or another as well.

Sidenote, I think you were right about my TS comm issues when we talked at CMP. The firmware is indicating that its corrupted, Thats probably what is causing issues.

Corrupted firmware will most definitely give you issues.

the car runs, but he has an oil leak...probably rear main seal.

It should be driving by the end of the weekend though.

I just drove my car around the block for the first time in 10 months. I think i need to find me some cocaine to celebrate. I need Pusha or Buffon to come hook me up.

So there is some sort of oil leak around my turbo that I need to figure out. It smokes when I pop the hood when around that area. It also goes really lean when I get on the gas. I need to definitely get my tune going, but first is oil leaks and bleeding the coolant.

So far I have not hooked up VVT or gotten into boost, put the motor feels like it had more power then my stock 94 block when out of boost.

So do you have your old begi setup mounted up right now? If your oil feed is leaking just leave it be; the oil will burn and crust up and form a nice sturdy carbon seal. I am only half joking.

besides being completely retarded and false, it's unsafe on so many levels.

I wet myself. Lars is out of the fail boat and only the Cuban is left in his Fail Raft.

I pulled the transmission and replaced the RMS. So far no more leaks.

I drove the car around the neighborhood tonight. My tune is so horrible right now. I really wish I could just afford to put it on a dyno and tune AFR's that way. Would be so much easier then driving around my neighborhood. Overall power feels good in first, second, and third gear. So far I have only gotten her up to about 40mph. I hit about 6psi pulling away from a kid in a saturn. He gave me a dirty look.

Now I just need to actually take it out of my neighborhood when there are no cars around and get some real time on driving it.
