I have disconnected my oil pressure gauge from the block. So there is the oil hole on the passenger side right past the oil filter open and when I crank the engine absolutely nothing comes out. So it has to be blocked before that. Today I will pull the oil filter and crank and see if oil comes out there.

The test plan for today is:
Pull oil filter and crank car and see if oil comes out there.
If success install shopvac and filter device and suck oil till I build pressure.
If that fails drink heavily. Then pull motor to take back to machine shop and disassemble and see what is blocking something.

Damn...That's no good. Starting to suspect your pick up tube. But you said you opened the little screw on teh pump and it gushed out? What are the chances that what gushed out was the oil you poured into it earlier and not oil its drawing from the pan?

It could have been oil I poured in, but not likely. I did not pour any oil down that hole yesterday, the most resent time pouring oil down was on Monday.

This is what the oil port on the passenger side looked like before I cranked.

This is what it looked like after cranking briefly.

This has to be beyond frustrating. Lars, take a break and come back to it when you're refreshed.

Doesn't make sense to me.

If the pickup tube is leaky then the pump will suck air and not oil, and air would have come out the little screw hole when he turned the motor, and not oil.

If oil comes out some hole A but not some other hole B, then there is blockage between A and B.

Lars, have you tried if oil come out the feed for the oil filter? IOW remove the oil filter, crank, see if oil shoots out.

I will be pulling oil filter this afternoon and cranking to see if oil comes out there. I should have an update on that by 5pm EST.

There are no Debbie Downers in this thread. Just Positive Pat's.

Really I lie, I am ******* pissed at my car right now, but I am even more swamped at work till sometime next week, so my anger is more focused on that right now.

Good - concentrate the mind numbing frustration elsewhere or you'll pull a Fae.

What really sucks is that I have a **** ton of work to do, but I do not have the install disk I need to start. I have a meeting from 2-4 which I will hopefully get the disk at, then tomorrow I am supposed to get the last few packages I will need. So starting early tomorrow morning till Monday, I will be completely occupied trying to get the 6 servers up and running and configured that are needed to meet our deadline.

So right now I have some work that I could be doing, but really I am twiddling my thumbs and posting on mt.net.

Go make one of these and try it with the vac. That's the first point of exit (port) on the oiling route from the pickup after the pump.

I have that made. My machinist made it today. Will be trying this afternoon.

I will cry. I am using a brand new OEM filter, so it should not be clogged.
