What this car is for, and has been providing:

This is not a street clutch. This is barely a clutch, when starting. You get the choice between burnout or jackhammering your rear diff. Combined with a six speed and 4.3 rear end in the car, burnouts happen. A lot. And powerslides. This is not a street clutch. It's completely awesome. I can actually downshift and pull up another gear under hard braking with it, rather easily.

Car needs more powers. Prototype plz.

By all means, don't post any info on that header. Ever.

You got it! Not that anyone here cares about n/a VVT buildups. :fawk:

bluegs03 05-05-2013 01:37 PM

seriously you cant just post that header and walk away....

Nagase 05-05-2013 02:13 PM

It's a very unique header, and was pretty well known for a while, no one recognizes it?

richyvrlimited 05-05-2013 04:01 PM

The gibb manifold?

Is that a one-off? Can't find it on the site and I must have it. Right meow

Nagase 05-05-2013 05:23 PM

There's a reason I said prototype. Never put up for sale...

Just checked your other build thread outa curiosity, doesn't seem to be anywhere near finished.

What's the reasoning behind 2 simultaneous builds?

Nagase 05-07-2013 01:33 AM

The other one stalled because people that were going to help me with wiring, didn't.

I have a phobia of wiring. It's stupid. :/

miata2fast 05-07-2013 08:17 AM

That looks like one fine header. I love the removable collector. Bigger more radical motor...supercharger or nitrous...just a quick change.

I had my eye on it when it appeared on the 949 website. Have you looked at the Stahl headers before choosing this one?

Nagase 05-07-2013 12:39 PM

I did not look at it. Just did now.

Prefer a tri-y. Better for a non-optimized engine. I'm more interested in torque than peak power. It's a street car.

Also, with a twin disk I am now able to clutch kick to avoid piles of gravel in the road while turning. That was neat.

Evo Kevin 05-13-2013 02:10 PM

That header looks promising. You planning for head work and cams with this setup?

Nagase 05-13-2013 02:34 PM

Possibly on cams, probably on head work. Don't want to lose torque.

Evo Kevin 05-13-2013 02:39 PM

Nice! I'll be keeping up with you...I'm one of those n/a guys too.

Nagase 05-13-2013 02:42 PM

Let me know if you see any better cam options for a torquey build!

Evo Kevin 05-13-2013 02:55 PM

I'm new to the BP, but from my digging around it seems like Maruha and Tomei are the only supporters for a good cam sadly.
