This pair was actually removed from the car and polished by our detailer when the bumpers got repainted.

They're simply THAT roasted. All of the plasitc is yellowed, not just the outer layer. They're as smooth as a...nvm. who cares. Yellow headlights are faster.

Can confirm the rumors. Yellow headlights are in fact faster.

Bet you guys wish you had the super rare Wide Track option, too. Boring that your wheels fit so well.

We had every intention of 'only' giving street rides because of the safety gear situation, but.. long story short, we installed the wrong ACE controller, so we didn't have access to the soft end of the valving range, which made the street ride less than optimum.

Stock seats, stock belts, the small Harddog bar = 7/10ths pace, "minimal" sliding of the tires, etc..

But this thing was sooooo much fun on track. Yes, it has some body roll, but it is the most composed and compliant car I have ever driven. Running over every curb and barreling up T6 and launching down the corkscrew. We were so comfortable in this car that we were playing with the ACE controller and adjusting shocks between turns.

Emilio and I were only slightly kidding when claiming that this might the nicest TTD Miata on the west coast. A set of hoosiers, stiffer springs and a dyno reclass away..

Haha, sweet! Was this your first time driving at Laguna Seca?...... you know I'm super jelly.

Also, that white car looks WAY better than my white car.

Brand new Mazda factory headlights. They're like $1,000,000 a piece :(

Having recently seen the insurance estimate to replace mine, you're not too far off. It's astounding how much they cost--especially the projector housings!

But I feels so much better. Just looking at the picture with the new headlights puts me in a safe space.

I need those new headlights in my life :(

I finally downloaded M@MRLS data from the AIM Solo. There is a Solo hardwired into Bullet so my suction one got to go in the only other car we were able to bring, Snoopster.

We logged a 1:48.1 on Saturday and 4 different 1:47s on Sunday.
Fastest lap of 1:47.517.
Peak lateral g loads of 1.40 in T2 and 1.27 in T10
Braking g of .81

That's mighty impressive for 205/50/15 Maxxis VR-1 and stock swaybars.
Xida ACE ftw!
