I had never drive with gas (really). My super refined E85 fuel map give me:
@ 60mph = 24mpg
@ 75mph = 22mpg
These numbers are without too much WOT playing

AFR's are around 15.6-16.5

How much did you increase the spark advance in cruise compared to the 93 tune?

What does the e85 set you back, per gallon or mile or whatever?

People throw all kinds of % numbers around, but IMO its not a set number, because you can run more timing, and you can run the stuff way leaner, and it still runs fine.

IMO in boost its quite more thirsty, so 30% more wouldn't be out of the question.
Out of boost it depends a lot. Anywhere from 10%-20% or so would be my experience.

Around here its around $1/gal less so in the end it ends up almost the same outa pocket.

The "only E85 gas station in 30 mile radius" that I use is $3.70 a gallon
The stations in MD that I checked are $3.30 a gallon
Regular gas in the area is $3.80 and 93 is ~$4.20

Again, I didn't do it for the cost savings. The gas station is 11 miles and 15 minutes away from my house. Its inconvenient.

You did it for the glory

edit:
for reference here its $3.40 for e85 vs $4.30 for chevron 91

Soviet,
You use a OTG cable, right? Nexus? My S3 won't connect when I use a powered OTG cable, but if I unplug power, it works.

The MS3Pro powers from the cable, the MSx is powered from the MS I believe. Curious what you've seen (with MSDroid)

yes, I use an OTG cable.
the difference, i'm guessing, is that I also use a custom rom on my Nexus 7 that enables a whole bunch of USB and OTG specific features.

USB ROM for Nexus 7

I don't have a nexus 7. :-(

But the phone (GS3) supports OTG right out of the box. And it'll charge... Unless it also sees the serial port. Uhg.

Abe, there are so many variants of the Galaxy phones that I won't even ask, but a quick google found this: [HW MOD][UPDATE][JB] USB OTG + Charging on the Galaxy S3 - xda-developers

OTG may be supported OOTB, but you may need to do some work to get it to work with charging.

Huh. Shoot. Why does every research project turn into a research project.

Guess I'll flash the phone then start all over.... :-(

About a year ago. Drove it like 500ft and decided that was enough.

I have no problem with slow cars being slow. I have a 1.6 92 sentra and our race car is a 91 1.6 sentra. They are slow.
Slow cars that have the 'fast' image, those I have a problem with.

Edit: Also about a year ago, for ~1.5 months, my car was missing turbine wheel. That made it about as fast a as a bone stock 99 miata in a drag race.

Yarp... I raced a 350Z that just had an Intake and Exhaust. I had a HUGE hole in the bottom of my manifold, so i was only pushing 6psi or so... with a TON of Lag.... I beat him. It was a slow win, as in took a while to pull ahead of him, but still. lol
Also... this race was from about 45mph on the Interstate, up to about 110 or so

In 6th (downshifting is for plebes) I walked away.
In 4th from 60 it was over a couple of bus lengths by the time I hit the limiter (<100)

So last few weeks I've been busy with the move to Norfolk, VA. I had a to drive back and forth a couple of times. In the miata, the drive basically cosists of going from E85 station in Ashburn, VA to E85 station in Newport News, VA. Its 187 miles, all highway. Well today there was only a little bit of traffic so it was smooth sailing @ 75mph average speed. I used 7.8 gallons. So, 24mpg. That's pretty ******* fantastic.

Huh. My dashboard resets every time I kill power - so I can't figure my mileage any more.
