I was kinda iffy about you painting something like a whole damn block something stupid like white. LOL

And the fan being so close is actually a good thing: you want that sucker to draw air through the rad not around it. are you still on stock vics mani?

I don't think it's "stupid". I knew it was coming, kind of. Whatever, it still looks nice, and does the job - oil stains show up REAL good

Yeah I'm stock VICS manifold, and actually I never hooked up VICS itself. So I'm leaving some torque on the table

Stock fuel rail too. Kind of worried about that but not really.

You should definitely fix the vics issue since you have such a laggy and unresponsive turbo

I'll hook it up. I took the intake manifold to mount the knock sensor but now I think I'll clean that area up a bit.

Driver side - turbo, nothing else
Passenger - OH GOD WHAT ARE THESE WIRES, HOSES AND THINGS?

A real baller would call my main man Marco up at Magnus Modas and have a proper intake manifold done up.

pretty much. honda intakes are great, but IMO a proper intake is so much better.

Baller intake example:

lol, no problem, i've been reading about intake manifolds for the past hour.

$1000 for intake manifold is a little bit steep for me. The more likely scenario is that I'll pick up a welder and learn how to weld Aluminium.

youre using the VE Idle Table right?

if not you should. then you can tune the idle cells of the VE Table 1 to be a bit rich. That way as you're coming down to idle before CL kicks in and thus the Idle Table, the AFRs will be a little fatter to prevent stalling.

AFRs are very important.

Also look at your overrun settings and the RPM you're returning fuel at. If it's too late there's a delay between the time you ask for fuel to return and when you actually burn it and that can lead to stalling too. Look at logs.

I use a 3% dashpot adder as well as the base PWM% Duty table. You should be running this feature as well over the "learned" value.

I actually have overrun disabled. I turned it on once but it just made the car act weird. So turned it off and never bothered since.

Not using VE Idle table. I'll give it a try when the car is running. Basically I'm still living in MS2-type tune world...

I got mine like 2 weeks ago - if yours DOES indeed arrive today, that means Borg Warner filled out all the warranty requests.

When it does arrive can you take pics of the turbine housing? Just want to see if yours looks like the "new" one I got.

I cant wait to see how the 6758's are going to react. See how the wheel design will work for our engine setup and if the tiny bit extra inertia will be noticeable.

Also, did you guys see next year BW is coming out with like a 716something that uses the same housings as these? Instantly makes for an easy upgrade if you want more power.

Yeah I talked to Savington about it... I'd be faster with my 6758 but personal life is getting in the way
