Well ive decided to make a build thread. I have had my miata since i was 15. Bought it the first year to just screw around with it until i got my license.
I did intake, borla exhaust, rims, headers, ect...all the ricer **** when you first buy your miata. Then the next year after i bought a cheap ebay turbo kit, tried to put it on said **** it cause i realized how big of a piece of **** it was and sold it. Then i bought a lowering kit, Megasquirt bigger injectors for another year. Then last year i went all out. Ripped out the motor built it fully with 8:8:1 forged pistons, H beam forged rods, knife edged crank, springs, retainers, valves, HKS cams, high flow oil pump, bearings, port and polished, bored over MLS HG...pretty much everything in my motor is brand new and built for boost.
The i purchased a BEGI stage 4 kit, biggest intercooler they had, SS seperated DP, SS manifold, 3 inch flange, 3 inch cat, 3 inch mangaflow exhaust, GT2871R turbo, was going to go 3071 but i thought it was going to be to big. HKS bov, put a 97 LSD 4.10 in it because i knew the factory 90 VLSD wouldnt hold up. ACT HD clutch, lighted 10lb flywheel. And all the tid bits oil cooler, gauges, seats, steering wheel, pedals, bracing, JL 10W3, JL tweeters with crossovers and speakers, JL rear 6x9's and two amps, ect ect...i wanted to build a fast show car.
And since i always got chirped since i bought my miata that it was a chicks car i now prove everyone wrong

then i had to pull the motor back out :( stupid cam bolt was loose thought it was a broken lifter...

worst exhaust leak from cracked manifold and DP

so i TIG welded it at school

upgraded to a 4 bar map sensor


watermeth!

had to modify MS board to control watermeth

massive crack

now thats a tight fit

relocated IAT

this year all back together!

thats pretty much it...its in the body shop right now getting painted i have a few pics i took and i also have some pics before it went in and some at the dyno last year.

Sadly it is...i never liked the look of the factory tail lights so i just bought some tint kinda did one to many coats lol. What tail lights are you running? Ive seen the alteza crap or what ever it is but im not a fan. And the manifold i have no clue. At the end of the year my exhaust leak was worse and i stuck my head over the manifold and it was spewing out. But begi covered it under warrenty.

Put the goddamn red spray paint down!!!
And throw away the remaining 50ft of red wiring loom cover **** before you are tempted to use it again. It's horrible!Otherwise, coming along nicely.

Ive been gone for a while gotten busy but here are some updates of the car since it came out of the body shop, and i also got a 2000 600cc Kawasaki Ninja
At the car show scrape by the lake 2010, placed 2nd in the mazda category.




Im on the right, buddy dared me to take a pic with them, one on left we couldnt tell if she was a man or woman funny ****...im on the right


custom paint it looks black but in the sun its a carbon fiber monster green affect.


Me and my buddy just did a photo shoot yesterday waiting for him to upload the pics and i will post them up.

Also was in the car last night, was idling my car shakes as it is from the cams, but last night it was rocking like crazy and it sounded like it was hitting something or something let go would that be the motor mounts?

Well was at the dyno yesterday, almost 300hp at 22lbs of boost with my watermeth, we could have gotten more but my intake manifold/throttle body gasket just went and washer fluid aka my watermeth was just spraying out everywhere on pulls. Then on my way home im passing a car 3rd gear, GONE! Butter im like are you shitting me. Soo i got a transmission this morning from a 97 57,000km for 350$, couldnt find a six speed. Swapped it in and shes back on the road. Then i found a massive vacuum leak on the back of the throttle body where its supposed to be capped off, so that and the gasket need to be done. There was CSCS tm at cayuga and 1/4 runs, was going to run the car but its going to be rained out so im heading there this coming weekend, im hoping i can get into the 12's on my street tires
