Default JohnMatt's half-assed build

I've been kindof lurking here awhile posting here and there learning what I can. Figured it's about time to go ahead and start myself a build thread since I'm close to getting her running again.
Build sheet:
Used XTD 6 puck clutch
New XTD 9lb flywheel
COPs harness
T3 chinacharger 57 trim .63A/R
tacotaco cast manifold(getting a new mani made by wayne_curr with EWG)
DIY port polish head
Haltech E6K standalone

Debating on getting M-Tuned rods to be safe. Aiming for around 240hp on 12psi. Still undecided if I should get cams with supertech springs and retainers and rev to about 7500. Then if I go that far I'm going to get cam gears and see how the honda intake swap goes or get the Begi one. I know the stock top end isn't going to want to flow as much as my turbo wants that's why I want the new cams, springs, intake etc. I'll follow up with pics shortly

I mentioned getting rods. Oil cooler crossed my mind but haven't looked into it much. Might as well while the engine is out I reckon

Ok so here's what I have on the computer right now. I know I know, I need to get some of my crappy headwork. I'm not too thrilled about the sportmaxx wheels but they were on the car when I got it

You're complaining about the wheels but you're okay with the bumper?

There was someone here that offered to send me a base tune awhile back and I'm going to get it tuned by someone local that tuned the car that this was on last. I'm buying it complete with harness, fuel rail, injectors, boost controller and all. I don't have it quite yet cause I still need to pick it up

thats how I bought mine... everything was still attached to the head.... it was on a BP 1.8 Protege though... miata head though....

if you happen to find the guy that offered to send you the base tune let me know, I am going to try to figure this out myself....

codeman the guy I was talking to about basemaps username is petrol. Hopefully I can have the car running in 2 weeks mostly depending on when my tax return gets deposited and when parts from m-tuned and Begi come in after that. Yeah wayne the pistons came in a few days after you sent them. Forgot to let you know and send feedback. I'll do it now

Looks badass Anton. Yeah I was just telling my buddy about it a minute ago and I told him the EWG is gonna be tricky to do now. I dunno if the motor mount is gonna be in the way but maybe you can have it come out by the block? I'm only going to be running a short screamer pipe anyways so I'm not picky
