Interesting... A2W core DOES look like it would fit between the turbo and intake. Also, is that an electric engine water pump? It looks like something off a smallblock chevy.
Nice progress, props for doing something different. You are also right water to air intercooler and the one i have picked out fits with half an inch to spare. Also thanks for the props, im always in for doing odd and different stuff, you could see this in my dyno thread 18psi 336whp 20psi 350whp. |
Okay bit of an update, i got my intercooler and my water tank in along with some other needed part. Here are pics of the intercooler and water tank.

Nice progress!
I hope you have some seriously beefy bracing in mind for that core. I assume that's a mock-up but it looks a bit freaky-deaky hanging out there in space like that. This should be FUN! |
This thread comes in the nick of time. I just purchased a TJ with a 4 cylinder, and have been exploring my options on an engine upgrade. I may seriously have to consider this as an option. It just makes more sense to have a lighter engine.
I just joined the wrangler site recently. My user name is m2fast. I didn't think having miata in my user name was appropriate for a jeep site. :giggle: |

Okay time to compose a list of whats left to buy and whats left to do.
I still need to get one more 60lb injectors, fittings for the water tank, aluminum bungs for the head exchanger and fittings. I still need to cut&weld the oil drain bung, drop fuel tank and instal walbro 255 and the above. |

The TJ in the later year also came with the 2.4l engine. The 2.4l engine is the same engine in the SRT4 so you can bolt on SRT4 stuff to make it faster.
I have a 97 with the less desirable 4. I would like to in the meantime, juice up what I have. Anyways, onwards with your project. I can not wait to see the results. |

No ----! I wonder if the 2.4 has a different transmission? If it is a straight forward swap, that would be awesome.

So after much thought and look on how shitty the factory ECU is on the jeep i decided it would be best to run the new Microsquirts V3. Once i get that going ill be able to put the turbo system on and have some fun.

Nice to see some progress. Microsquirt?

A part of me thinks you should have a flex section in the hot side pipe. Thoughts?
