It starts with parts. Emilio is like Santa this year.

Synopsis.

1.9ish, Carrillos, Supertech pistons, '00 head, os valves, supertech valvetrain.

Emilio's twin cerametalic clutch/fw, FCM 550/350, RB 1.125 hollow front, no rear bar, 949 braces. A/C, p/s, soft top delete. 275 hoosiers on 9" 6UL and 225/45 NT01 on 8" ATS superlights, still looking for rains. Aero yet to be disclosed.

Switched from planned custom tubular to Begi S4 mani and 3" sgdp. Still rockin the corksport 2.5" exhaust, catless. GT2560R with lots of special Corky porting, custom #2/#3 Begi i/c, fm coldside bits. Brain MS1.

Some here that know me might be able to fill in stuff I'm missing. The bitch is still without the engine, hopefully it will be done in a couple of weeks, and I will thrash to put everything together.

Oh, almost forgot fueling. Walbro 255, AEM regulator, all AN lines, ID1000cc injectors, E85. I will run as much boost as the turbo can make, and I will run it to MBT if the E85 works as planned.

I know a couple of jokers that will say I need more rotrex/sc/whipple. Just wait for it, you'll see.

For what I'm doing with it, 2560R may be just about right.

I would never say that. I am fine with you making whatever wrong choices you want.

Engine pretty much as it sits right now. I intend on putting it in the car this weekend. I'm not getting my turbo back until tomorrow, so can't have the water and oil lines fabbed up until Monday to get the correct length. Do you guys think I'm going to have a tough time getting the lines hooked up with the engine in the car? I'm taking oil feed from the pax side of the block since it's a '97. Also, any thoughts as to whether the flipped over mixing mani is going to hit my RB 1.125 hollow fsb? I measured and it looks like it'll be close. Anything I should consider before installation? The trans will go on, as will the turbo and hopefully the upper dp before craning it in.

^Dude, it was more work, more money, more toil and endless hours in the middle of the night than I thought it would be.

Unfortunately, it wasn't quite ready in time for my region's test and tune, and I only drove it ~15 miles on the highway, busy monitoring the laptop too much to enjoy the drive. I never really gave it stick, in other words. It felt pretty lively, though, just in the quick dip-in runs I gave it on the highway. It was like a UFO in rolling runs before, I think it'll just be stupid now. 65-90 is pretty much instant.

Right now I'm dealing with a ****-off burping my re-route (brass flapper needs out), so it sits parked in the garage. I also need to get IAC working and play with decel to even things out with the light light clutch/flywheel. I think it'll be good to go after this weekend.

Was it worth it? I'll have to let you know in a week or two. My body is still healing from the wounds and lack of sleep, and I haven't had a chance to enjoy it yet.

BTW, can anyone tell me what wire bundle the one-wire water temp gauge hookup is in? I lost it along the way and can't find the ****** for the life of me.
