Mmmm, 108 octane race gas? Intercooler AND meth injection?
If a voo doo is turned all the way up w/ stock injectors. At 12 psi what AFR would the fueling be at?
OP: "AFR? What's that?" "Timing? What does that have to do with boost?"
Me: "lets see a datalog of a 12 psi pull so we can tell you if it's safe or not."
OP: "what's a datalog?"
Squarely in the "eating ****" range.

No clue, but if a member in the Detroit area wants to check the car out and plug their laptop in it to answer your questions - all for it. I'm also open to having someone FaceTime me so the car, its components, running condition can be showcased that way. I'm not knowledgeable enough to answer your questions, and I won't pretend to be. However, I'm willing to accommodate requests (pictures, FaceTime, PPI, etc.)

It's not - the car makes too much boost. I called FM to reduce boost, they mentioned that the one way was to create restriction in the exhaust, or change the bracket in the wastegate actuator, and add more washers to adjust it. I ordered the bracket, and changed it, car still will push to 12 if you don't pull off. I havent tried incrementally adding washers to reduce boost, as I pull off when the guage hits 10 - it gives me ridiculously smooth power without any bogging.

Again, happy to FaceTime with the car, or take it for a PPI.

I'll be back in town Sunday, and will find check in the installation booklet which specific turbo it was. It was a Garret something? Either way, I'll grab the exact turbo name and post here tomorrow night.

It's not that simple. What will laptops be connected to? Last time I checked, voo doo boxes didn't come with USB ports.

I'm not trying to be a total dick here...I just get real pissed off when somebody tries to sell a car that they apparently know nothing about.
Do you have a nice, low mileage car with lots of potential? I think so.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, you're dealing with guys such as myself that have years and years of education on turbo miatas and how they should properly run. If you really want to sell this car, get us some better information about it.
Btw, your turbo is most likely a GT 2560... And there's no effing way that stock injectors will provide enough fuel for that turbo beyond 8 psi.

No offense taken. The car pulls at 10psi without any bogging, with smooth power - does that mean it has aftermarket injectors? I don't know. It's been maintained by Munks Motors in Waterford, AND the Suburban Mazda dealer in Troy. When I got the car, I took it to Munks, gave it to them, and said "do whatever it takes to make this car reliable for years to come". I have a bill on hand for $2k for all the work they have done, to do just that.

Again, I don't know as much as you.

And again, give me a list of questions, and I'll try to get the information for you. I've offered multiple ways of accommodation, so far you have used none.

Turbo - As mentioned, I'll get it tonight
Injectors - Tomorrow, I'll pull the clips off the injectors and get you a picture. Maybe you, with your immense knowledge will be able to see if they're stock or not, I'd appreciate your help there
Wide band Info - How?
Dyno wide band printout - I'm assuming this means taking it to a dyno?

Plug a laptop into what, exactly?

Also: Holy **** at seeing AFRs in the 13s, 14s..... 16s....SO ******* LEAN THE WIDEBAND DOESN'T EVEN DISPLAY IT under boost.

Buddy, do yourself a favor and part that thing out now before you have someone really angry at your door with a blown up car the day after you sell it to them. That thing is doomed.

...yes.

The car makes way too much boost, and the gas pedal is being held down for this video to showcase that. AFR when it's at 6-8 psi is much much lower...I think it's around 53ish seconds into the second video.

Analog wide band gauges ftw! I can barely make out what the digital readout says in the video. video is too bouncy and readout is too garbled.

Here's what i'm getting at: You just showed us a video of you killing your motor. In a thread where you're trying to sell us your car.

It also looks too lean at 8psi. This is the very definition of an setup guaranteed to blow up. I bet your pistons look like the moon.
