Status: Clean Title I have a 1990 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - Virginia. Asking price is $5000 OBO Depending on Parts The details: Bought at 192,000 miles Currently 228,000 miles This has been my autocross car for the past year and a half. It is great fun! But I probably need money more than I need a miata right now. It is built as a CSP car, but is a great base for a fun turbo car, and I originally bought the car from these forums :) Maintenance Parts Replaced: Radiator Radiator hoses (silicone) FR/FL/RR Wheel bearings (LR included, but not installed) All 4 calipers (reman) All 4 rotors (Napa special) ARP extended wheel studs Magnaflow OEM replacement catalytic New lower ball joints New upper ball joint boots Optima Yellowtop Battery (Braille 8lb battery included too) Upgraded to nice hella headlights with replacable bulbs Lots of bolts replaced with new/antiseize New eccentrics New slave cylinder Car was painted fairly ghetto recently (still has a fair amount of rust damage) Random pioneer cd player and dual brand speakers (6 1/2"...cut into door panels) Motor swap and related parts: 64k mile (now at about 76k) '99 miata engine New water pump New timing belt Mazdacomp motor mounts Fidanza flywheel Exedy OEM replacement clutch '99 transmission with redline fluid '99 driveshaft '99 open 4.3 diff '99 halfshafts RX-7 AFM with open air filter stock '95 header mated to magnaflow cat and a mazdacomp spec miata exhaust (extra resonator added) Suspension: Koni Race shocks/koni perches Eibach ERS springs F/R Delrin UCA bushings Poly front LCA bushings Uninstalled delrin diff mount bushings and more rear delrin Ebay special steering wheel (poor quality) Wheels: 15x7 random wheels with Kumho AST tires (195/50/15) 13x8 Diamond racing with dead hoosiers 13x9 Real racing with dead hoosiers (a lot of work was done to make this tuck and fit right!) 14x6 Stock hollow spokes with dead azenis Softtop is REMOVED and NOT INCLUDED. Hardtop with headliner and defroster (not functional) is included, but has fairly poor paint. Currently has a depowered rack (not CSP legal), but will include a manual rack/mounts/bushings Trailer hitch Trailer set up to carry the wheels (no toolbox)..includes all locks/chain etc. Could include my Recaro Profi if the price is right. (Not installed, nor setup to be installed quite yet) Problems: Body is rough. Rocker panel rust and dented frame/pinch rails Interior shows a good amount of fade Car has a slight misfire when cold at low RPM, seems to be bad ignitor. I'm looking into converting the car to coil-on-plug or just replacing the ignitor. Either-or. Car seeps a small amount of oil from the valve cover gasket and distributor o-ring Car really needs a new steering wheel. The one on the car just sucks. The suspension is a little loud right now. I think some delrin needs lubed. I will sell the car, with the 15s, and good ASTs, hardtop, and stock seats for $5000 OBO. The whole deal, 13x9s, 13x8s, 14x6s, $1000 Recaro driver's seat, trailer, hitch, etc. $6000 OBO. I know the pictures are completely random. Sorry, I have to clean it up for a real photo shoot soon. |
A little update, not that I expect much interest here. The recaro is now installed in the car, as is the manual steering rack.
