I have a 1990 Mazda Miata for sale, in USA - California.

Here's the deal: My car is parked at (redacted). It's in the corner of the parking lot away from the apartment complex and nearest the road. Come and get it:




If you feel guilty about just stealing the car, feel free to offer me some token amount of money for it- whatever you feel is appropriate. In exchange for this, I will mail you a key and the title, and probably not call the police and report the vehicle as stolen a week from now.


The Good:

• FatCat Revalved Bilsteins, with FM springs (318/233) and NB tophats.
• MS3Pro ECU
• Toyo R1Rs (less than 1 year old, with nearly full tread) on 15x7 Enkei wheels
• New top
• New windshield
• Zero rust
• It actually runs quite well
• You get to brag to your lonely, homosexual friends that you own a car that used to be owned by Joe Perez

The Bad:

• Pretty much every single body panel aside from the doors and the windshield frame has been crunched at some point. I did a quickie job of hammering and bondoing, and then applied a $100 paint job that looks like a $100 paint job. It looks like a 23 year old car that's been indifferently repaired and cheaply repainted by a complete amateur.
• I have no idea what the actual mileage is. The odometer had around of 220,000 miles on it when the speedo cable broke. I never replaced it.
• I don't guarantee that the car will pass smog. I see no reason why it shouldn't, but I haven't tested it in the current ECU configuration. (The last test was with the stock ECU, and it passed with flying colors.) Aside from the ECU, everything else is stock from the air filter to the tailpipe. You might need to retard the timing just a bit- I can email you a VEX file for this.

The Ugly:

• The interior isn't all that horrible, actually. A bit faded and a few dash cracks, but it's not like the seats are falling apart- it's worn, but not actually torn or broken. Better than you'd expect for a 23 year old car, and it's 100% original except for the aftermarket radio and the gauge panel made from a piece of a FedEx box under the radio.
• I actually can't think of anything else to write here. I wanted to put something funny here, but the muse is silent on this one.

If you want to offer me money, fine. If you happen to own a tow truck (or know how to hot wire a Miata) then just go take it and may God have mercy on your soul. Also, please post a message saying "I have stolen your car" so that I know not to accept cash offers for it.

I have the key and title with me. If you want those, offer me whatever you believe to be a reasonable amount of money, in light of the fact that it's essentially a stock, 23 year old Miata with a shitty paint job that happens to be very well tuned and has a few very expensive parts on it.

I will also provide documentation for the ECU install (a copy of the project file, an Excel sheet of the wiring harness, etc.) to paying customers.

Otherwise, just go to the address I gave with a tow truck and take the car. If you want to part it out, fine. Just make sure that the shocks and ECU find a good home.

Hell if I was within a few hours, I'd of already had this thing parked in my garage with the steering lock ripped up and ignition hot wired. then I'd send joe a prestamped envelope full of my little pony trading cards in exchange for the key and title.
