1992 swaped new1.8 built turbo'd
 

Up for sale I have my fully built turbo charged 1992 Mazda Miata MX-5 project car. Chassis is about 136k miles. but has new engine literally like 1500 miles. car runs and dries great currently on conservative tune it makes about 220 but is capable of a lot more since its max boost right now is only 8psi or so.
This car has been mine for just under a decade now. It is rough around the edges but mechanically dang near perfect. Has lots of modifications that I will list below i will also be completely transparent with this car and if you don’t like something about it or the price I have listed it for I don’t really give a damn do please don't comment and waste everyone's time . It’s not a show car at all as it sits right by now but it is a hell of a lot of fun. i have owned this car for a long time and i truly have loved every minute of it. 9k obo

Maintenance that’s been preformed

-Engine complete rebuild

-fuel filter replaced

-brake master cylinder replaced

-all new belts and tensioners

-all fluids are new.

-newly rebuilt shifter

-new motor mounts

-brake master cylinder

-new clutch slave

-new battery



The bad

-it has been in a few fender benders thanks to yours truly. nothing to major had to replace front bumper and hood and a front quarter panel

-light rusting on some of the under side and rear )no more than should be expected for a car this old.

-it is a project car meaning it’s not perfect if you don’t want a car to work on and improve its probably not for you



The ugly

-the HVAC has been removed entirely

-the soft top back window is completely shot. Could use a new top entirely to be honest

-seats are ripped and there is a hole in the carpet

-glove box not currently installed as it needs a new latch

-interior in general needs to be redone

-The windshield wipers have been removed as well as the wiper motor. They can be replaced but I don’t drive it in the rain and it looked better without them.

it will also come with a tuning laptop for it as well as a bunch of old and/or spare parts as well as a brand new aftermarket fuel pump that wasn't ever installed
