Default 1993 Mazda Miata MX-5 LE - $7500

Category: Import
Status: Clean Title

I have a 1993 Mazda Miata MX-5 LE for sale, in USA - Pennsylvania.

Mileage: 83000 miles

Asking price is $7500

Seller Information: Blaise Szallasi
Phone: (610) 348-8679
Email: [email protected]

I hate to do this, but I have to sell the one and only nice toy I've ever owned.

Last year I bought this Miata with the intent to track it. Instead, it's been sitting in my garage while I've been busy driving my WRX and other miata on the street, and a large assortment of motorcycles on the track. It sounds silly, but I can't bring myself to drive the car anywhere on the street because I'm constantly paranoid of it getting scratched, and I feel bad driving it to the track without a truck and trailer (which I don't own). I've put 300 miles on it this last year, and that's just not how I roll. So it has to go. Sigh. :(

Location: Philadelphia PA

Email: [email protected]

Specs:
1993 Mazda Miata MX-5 Limited Edition LE

52mm Boost Gauge

FM Level 1 Happy Meal w/Lightweight Flywheel

Wheels/Tires

Oil was just changed 30 miles ago with Mobil 1. Water pump and timing belt done only as a preventative thing 100 miles ago. One wheel has a screwed up lip thanks to a curb. Remember that part where I said I'm scared to drive this thing on the street? I also have a massive folder with all the service records this thing has had since the dawn of time.

Price is rock solid $7500. Will not move by a dollar. Worst case I'll be tracking this next year instead of racing CCS on my bike.

I for one am happy that you are several thousand miles away. Best of luck with the sale.

FWIW - Pictures are also not working for me.

Dayum.

How many miles on the turbo setup? A/C and Heat? Power steering?

In for interior and engine bay pics.

I really wanted an NB but this is a darn nice car. Plus PA is closer than Georgia where cjernigan's car is......

Turbo setup has only a few thousand miles on it. I'd have to check the paperwork, the installation was also done professionally so there is a mileage listed. I know off the top of my head that the turbo install was done in the fall/winter of 2010 and tuned at Oracle tuning in February 2011.

A/C = no, although it does have the lines/controls/etc. No compressor in there though right now, so you'd have to install one.
Heat = yep
Power Steering = yep, it better with those wide NT01s

Here is the only engine/interior shots I can find, along with a bonus tail shot.

Ugh. That last photo makes me want to keep her so badly :( :( :(

Delivery to Pittsburgh could be negotiated for a fee. BTW, the LE speakers are still there, no radio though, just an amp and 3.5mm input for your ipod/phone.

Ah, thanks. The pics in that ad are excellent and still representative of the car. The only things that have changed are +300 miles, new waterpump/timing belt, plugs, oil, and an FC oil cooler which is included.

Interested in a trade for mine? It's a track car/race car with a SCCA logbook and still is tagged/registered for the street.

Thanks but not right now. The plan is to dump the money into a proper SV650 race bike (currently running my street one) and race CCS next year.

Lucky for me, I still have my street miata!

Lots and lots of interest, but most of it is out of town. If you're local (or semi-local), try not to put this off and meet with me this weekend!

Blaise, one nagging question... Why the ******* attached to the end of the exhaust?
