Oh, I didn't even pick up on the sideways insult "there are some shady people..."

Dude, not the best first impression.

I codrove this car about a year ago at an autocross. It's a very well-assembled car, all the right go-fast parts, and Jon is a nice guy.

Mind if I ask where you got your NACA brake ducts?

from any of the 4-million places online who sell them.

Nagase 09-25-2009 08:06 AM

They are prevalent, now that I know they're a common universal item. Thank you Hustler. :)

CRXican 09-26-2009 10:33 PM

it was cool until he posted this in the auction:

On Sep-25-09 at 17:08:46 PDT, seller added the following information:

Bid it up guys because I will not sell below $7500...
You start a no reserve auction, don't be an asshat.

A no reserve auction is a binding contract to the winner. The winner would have legal grounds to sue, I'm pretty sure. He'd be smart to end it now and repost it with a reserve and a BIN maybe.

gospeed81 09-27-2009 08:36 AM

I heard someone say the other day that no-reserve auctions generally draw higher prices.

I honestly hate reserve auctions...I read it as: "Here's the price...but I'll take more than that if you asshats want to fight over it."

JayL 09-27-2009 12:50 PM

As someone who was going to be bidding on the car I'm a bit pissed by his comments after he choose to do a no reserve auction. I won't be bidding on it now.

Wait...wut?

WHEELS SHOWN NOT INCLUDED?

and

IF BIDS DON'T GET AS HIGH AS I WON'T YOU CAN'T BUY IT FROM ME EVEN THOUGH YOU'VE COMMITTED TO AN EBAY BID?

I understand wanted to get your value out of your car...but that's kinda crummy if you ask me...

Stein 09-28-2009 03:41 PM

Well, it cleared the "no reserve reserve price" of $7500 already with three hours to go. Me thinks the bidding will stall now.
