1994 Mazda Miata – N/A mods, caged, hardtop, $3000 OBO.

140,000 miles - Clean WI title

Drivetrain:
• Mobil 1 engine oil, Redline MTL transmission fluid and Redline 75-90 differential fluid used since purchase in 2005.
• Racing Beat intake
• Enthuza stainless steel M1 Racer exhaust with Mazda Comp test pipe
• ACT Stage 2 clutch and 8.8LB flywheel
• Solid motor mounts
• Mazda comp shifter bushing
• Factory Torsen LSD (Replaced in 2008)
• AC/PS delete
• Zero emissions. May pass sniff test with a cat, but CEL is on from evap and EGR equipment, or lack thereof.

Interior:
• MiataCage.com V3 full cage
-NASCAR drivers door bar, passenger door bars retain power window
-Optional: X brace and front dash bar to retain full heater controls
-Firewall braces and roof bar included but not installed
-Hoop mounted as high as possible for driver headroom, this means the outer edges of the hoop enter the inner skin of the hardtop. No modifications were made to the outer skin.
• Radio, cruise, A/C, airbag, power mirrors, drivers power window, and rear defog wiring delete. All other electronics work perfectly.
• Advanced Autosports radio delete plate with E36 M3 power window switch
• Sound deadening removed
• SafeRacer hardtop mounts
• In the pictures there is no rear window - I have an OEM window ordered, will be installed when received.

Chassis:
• Russel SS brake lines (Front installed, rear included)
• Axxis Ultimates pads front and rear
• Tokiko Illumina shocks and springs (2” drop)

Body:
• The car was in a minor accident in 2006, no frame damage, however the radiator support was pushed back 2” on the left side of the car. I had the support pulled back by a reputable body shop, and bought new front fenders, bumper, and hood from Mazda.
• Front fenders have minor dings, left fender has a couple of good dimples from where the fender flew up on the track (oops.)
• Rear rockers have the usual northern Miata rust holes, left side has visible rust the size of a fist, right side is getting there.
• Engine bay painted black and clear coated (PPG clear).
• Front half of car is rattle canned. Its not pretty, but from afar you can't tell if you squint really really hard.

I will also include any extra NA miata parts that I have laying around.

NO TRADES except similar valued AWD winter cars (DSM, E30, Jeep, so on).

Asking $3000 OBO.

Grabbed some pictures tonight: http://s126.photobucket.com/albums/p...iata/?start=40

Ordered a Mazda OEM rear window, as soon as it gets here it will be installed. Also in the pictures, the airbox is not mounted, MAF is not plugged in, vacuum line is off - all will be corrected in a few days when I get more time. I can't find the racing beat intake but if I do it will go on it instead.

Price is OBO open to any reasonable offers.

Thanks!

if it was rust free, I`d def. be really interested

ApexOnYou 09-02-2010 12:41 AM

Thanks, its a shame that it got this bad. I wouldn't have even thought about starting a different project if this didn't have rust. The first two years after purchase it was my only car so it saw 1.5 winters, which was enough to start the rocker rust.

Rear window will be installed tomorrow, and just picked up the remaining missing parts from the engine bay. Just about ready to go.

Sold?

ApexOnYou 09-06-2010 05:15 PM

Still available, but if you are post count bumping I'd suggest doing it elsewhere..

ARG! Damn midwest rust!!!!! I would have been all over this to turn it into a 2nd spec miata but not with the rust :(

gluck with the sale... very nice price and someone could have a heck of a fun trackday toy with nice safety gear!

But I feel better about NOT driving my former NA Miata's through winter though (so there is that)

ApexOnYou 09-07-2010 04:39 PM

Thanks. This car is the reason I now buy beaters for the winter season. I've had tons of inquiries from track guys but no follow ups as of yet. Price is OBO!

Ardenmiata 09-07-2010 04:49 PM

No post count bumping...just highly excited to buy into a Miata. Decided that an NB built for daily use is the best start for me. Good luck! Incredible amount of knowledge/possibilities on this forum.

ApexOnYou 09-07-2010 08:16 PM

If I ever get into a Miata again it will be a NB. Good luck with the search.
